Chicks Inspiration Challenge - Week 3

Now this challenge from Chicks with Inkpads finished off nothing like it began!!! Firstly I had decided to do 3 oval vases in the three different colours - but just could NOT get the idea to work!! It was just not ME and I felt it was boring - so of course I just HAD to play with it some more which completely wrecked it!!! So then I decided to go with the colours - which led to all sorts of discussions as to whether the middle vase was green or white - so I used BOTH, after all there is green foliage and a white background - along with the pink and blue.

I am so much happier with this card - it's much more my style - if I HAVE a style, still working on THAT!! I've had this Tilda with Puppy stamp for a while now - this one was actually already coloured up and cut out in my "finished images" drawer. I like to sit and colour but don't always have the card ready to go so I pop these images in my little drawer ready to use when the time is right - it even amazed me how many I had in there waiting to be loved! The sentiment is from the new hostess set Best Yet.

Awww...there's one of my favorite Tildas!! So CUTE!! OH MY...just realized that she is colored almost exactly like my last one!! Except for your blonde hair--mine has brown. LOVE your gorgeous flowers on here, and the saying is so cute. I need more sentiments like this I think. :) Hope you have a very blessed easter!!

Oh Debbie, I love what you came up with for this challenge! Using that scallop with the leaf embossed background behind it is so perfect! Man, were you lucky to find that cute image already colored just right to fit this card! I love it! I can totally relate to the "style" thing, but I am trying to go outside my box...just not too far:))

Hi Debbie, if we all had the same style it would be VERY BORING!! I figure the colours are there to inspire, and I like what you've done. She looks just right sitting on the scallop. Lucky you coloured her perfectly!

Missed you on Monday... maybe next time??

Love it to bits Debbie. I hope someone may feel sorry for me soon and send me some stamped images of these wee darlings. I would love to find some occasions to use them!! The Nestabilities circles are FAB.

This is FANTASTIC! I completely feel your pain when a card just doesn't come together the way you envision it. You have to go with your gut and your card turned out brilliant. I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with next week!

Oh my goodness, this is sooooo cute! The color inspiration translated perfectly! I was expecting something quite different as I scrolled down from the inspiration piece, reading through your description, and then up popped the card! Those layered flowers are magnificent, and Tilda is colored perfectly. Love the CB background, but I especially love the way you ticket punched just one corner. Yes, you do have a style dear girl... it's wonderfully you!
