Are you excited - it's RELEASE DAY for the Lil Perfect Match surprise release from Tickled Pink Stamps and we are hop hop hopping along to celebrate!

You should have arrived here from the ever amazing Angela's Blog if you're already hopping - otherwise head back to the oh so talented Amy's Blog to begin at the very beginning - a very good place to start - OH NO - am humming away now - LOL.

For my couple I've paired our gorgeous new Lil Lolita Christina with her perfect match Lil Lad Eric. I made this card some time ago as I couldn't help but colour this cute couple up as soon as I received Christina from Kellie. You can't tell here but I've used my glaze pen to pop some lenses into their glasses - as a wearer of glasses myself lenses are a must have - LOL.

Now before you go on check THIS out - Kellie is offering 2 lucky TPS followers the ENTIRE set of Lil Perfect Match Stamps (one set in rubber and one set of digis) AND their matching partners - so 12 stamps in total. This is in addition to the prizes on offer for the blog hop and is to celebrate Tickled Pink Stamps reaching 900 followers on our blog - wooohooooooo.

Now I won't hold you up - you have more gorgeous couples to check out from the rest of the Pink Ladies - and your next stop is the delectable Emma's Blog where she will blow you away I'm sure!

Timeless Tags from The Craft's Meow

PLEASE SCROLL DOWN FOR MY TICKLED PINK STAMPS PREVIEW POST

So are you ready to check out our next preview for The Craft's Meow. Today we have another Nina Brackett set called Timeless Tags and they were designed to fit perfectly with the Spellbinders Grommet Tags.

Since this is a sentiment set I wanted mine to "pop" so I used black embossing powder. If you look closely I've "fussy stamped" to get the fairies face from my Pink Paislee DP in the frame - it's a subtle detail but I LOVE it! When it came to my layout I was inspired by THIS card from the ever amazing Becca Feeken.

To see the complete set and snippets of the other DT's work check out our blog HERE. And if you get a chance please visit all the blogs and leave comments for a chance to win this stamp set for yourself. You have until 10:00 pm Pacific (June 29th) to finish the rounds and comment. Winners will be announced tomorrow on The Craft's Meow blog. There will be three winners from three different blogs each day. AND there will be a grand prize winner on Blog Hop Day of the entire release... all five sets.

Lil Perfect Match Preview Day 5

Woohooo - it's day 5 of our surprise release from Tickled Pink Stamps which means one more day and one more preview before these guys hit the shelves! Today I have Lil Lad Jock Lestat to show you - he's the perfect match for 50s Lilith - but today I decided to forgo the romance and checked out Lestat's OTHER love - CARS!!! I found this fabulous car when I googled car colouring pages.
The sentiment is also from Tickled Pink Stamps and was cut with my favourite TPS die. Now don't forget to head on over to the Tickled Pink Stamps blog HERE to check out what the rest of the DT have been up too - and leave a comment for a chance to win Lestat for yourself!

Celebrating You from The Craft's Meow

Well it's that time of the month when The Craft's Meow are previewing the latest sets of stamps that will be going on sale on June 1st. We are previewing 2 different designers this week - the always fabulous Nina Brackett and the wonderful new designer on the TCM block Michelle Bertuzzi.

Today we are previewing Nina's set called "Celebrating You" and it features some gorgeous double fuschias. These were always on of my favourite flowers growing up as I could easily strike cuttings - we had pots of fuschias all over the house - LOL. The sentiment is one of several that come with the set and I added some extra depth to the picture by layering the leaves and popping them up on 3 levels.

To see the complete set and snippets of the other DT's work check out our blog HERE. And if you get a chance please visit all the blogs and leave comments for a chance to win this stamp set for yourself. You have until 10:00 pm Pacific (June 28th) to finish the rounds and comment. Winners will be announced tomorrow on The Craft's Meow blog. There will be three winners from three different blogs each day. AND there will be a grand prize winner on Blog Hop Day of the entire release... all five sets.

Lil Perfect Match Preview Day 3

This week at Tickled Pink Stamps we have been previewing a SURPRISE release to celebrate one year since the Lil Lolita's were first seen in the stamping world. The release is called Lil Perfect Match as the new images are perfect matches for 6 of our already popular images. If you've missed the first 2 days of previews then hop on over to our blog HERE - you won't be disappointed!!! Release day is Tuesday, 31st of May.

Today we're showcasing Lil Perfect Match Pirate Lylah who is a perfect fit for Lil Lad Pirate Frankie. I've used both here on my card but they are FABULOUS images to use on their own too. You can check out some more inspiration with this gorgeous gal on our blog HERE.

I used a fun tutorial I found on CDAC to make Frankie into a postage stamp. I had planned for Lylah to be sending a pirate love letter to Frankie but it just didn't work out - LOL. I made sure the "stamp" fit my WoJ stamp die so cutting it out was easy! I actually made 2 stamps so you may see him pop up on a letter somewhere - LOL.

As always you have a chance to win this stamp for yourself - just leave a comment on the TPS blog.

It's Time!

I've had this fabulous rabbit called "Late" from Mo Manning (available HERE) for some time and have just been waiting for the right project to use him on! On a recent trip to my local Op Shop (Thrift Store) I found the perfect thing - this fabulous little clock AND when I took it home and popped a battery in the added bonus - IT WORKED - LOL.

I pulled it apart and covered the base with some Bo Bunny DP and then came another bonus - my new Tim Holtz weathered clock die was a perfect fit - woohooo! I printed "Late" off to fit and then popped him and some chipboard cogs onto the base before re-attaching the clock mechanism. I've take a picture of the inside of the clock as the glass on the finished clock means the details are dull.

After painting the frame white I noticed the finish wasn't the best and so I covered it with more Bo Bunny DP - which I think I prefer anyway AND it was a lot less effort than stripping the paint back! Some more cogs and it was done! Now just to figure out somewhere to put it where the ticking doesn't bother me - I HATE the sound of ticking when the house is quiet!!!

Digital Fun With Just INKlined

When I saw THIS card by my fellow Just INKlined DT member Joyce I was fascinated by the technique she had used - it was such a fabulous yet simple idea!

When you receive an image from Just INKlined it comes in 2 formats - jpeg and png. The jpeg is complately opaque but when you hold the mouse over the png image you will see some areas are blue and some areas may be white. IF they are blue that means that part of the image is transparent and can be overlaid on some digital DP and only the lines are visible - see left. GREAT for paper piecing.

In the case of the Big Cottage (available HERE) the background is transparent but the image isn't - so when you overlay it onto a digi DP you will get a coloured background but a white image to colour in - see left. I know Joyce used photoshop to achieve this effect but I'm glad this image was already set up to be used this way as I can't use photoshop at all - LOL.

I printed out my main image on a Bearly Mine Designs DP at a reasonable size as I wanted to use it as a backdrop for one of my Mini World Magnolias. I had already re-sized the DP to fit the front of my card so I wouldn't lose the stitching detail. These Just INKlined images are gorgeous on their own but also great to use this way. Tilda looks like she's setting off for a day of shopping down on High Street. A bit if ribbon and a few flowers was all it needed to finish off.

Hmmmm - think I'm in the mood for some retail therapy myself - or maybe just some window shopping today - LOL

Magnolia Down Under Challenge #97

This week over at Magnolia Down Under Challenges we are getting into the festive spirit and our challenge is "Christmas". Is it ever too early to ink up those Christmas stamps and start building your stash?!?!?!

I decided to kick my Christmas card making off with non-traditional colours. I had this gorgeos Magnolia DP in my stash and that was my starting point. After I punched the pink lace panel I thought it was a little bright - so I overlaid a sheer white ribbon over the top to tone it down - it does have polka dots on but if you use your imagination they could be snowballs - LOL. I made a bow from the same ribbon to hang my Christmas tree charm from. I love the mini world Magnolias - you can mix them with full sized elements for some fun.

Now I admit it took me a bit to get into the Christmas mood - resorting to getting my fellow DT members to "sing" me Christmas Carols via email - I even learnt a new one in Swedish - LOL.

Here's hoping the MDUC DT manage to help get you in the mood to create for Christmas too - you can check out their AMAZING inspiration at our blog HERE.

Who Me?

Meet little Miss Tabitha from Just INKlined - she just seems to be saying - "Who Me?" - LOL. I've cut out the cheeky sentiment using my Craft Robo. I dry embossed the "shadow" and then popped the words up for added dimension. I don't usually do this style of card but I have to say it was a LOT of fun - and REALLY suited Tabitha - who is available HERE.

And apologies for not stopping by to visit any of my blog buddies lately - what can I say - cold and flu season has hit The Pamment Household without any mercy!

The Craft's Meow Preview Day 2

Today I am showcasing Little Frieda and Lulu - My Girl. I don't know about you, but I think this image is pretty darn cute. I can imagine Frieda playing dress-ups in her room with Lulu watching on. Having recently re-watched the movie Moulin Rouge I can almost feel Frieda channeling the can-can dancers of gay Paris - and this fabulous Graphic 45 DP from The Craft's Meow helps to bring her daydream alive!

Some of the other TCM DT have come up with some GORGEOUS creations using My Girl - you can see snippets and find all the links at The Craft's Meow Blog. And be sure to leave a comment on all of the design team blogs so that you'll have more chances of winning this cutie for yourself! A Little Cutie From Mo

Isn't this little gal the cutest thing - with her hands over her face as she giggles away at a little secret we can only hope to share in. She is Cherry from Mo Manning and she is available HERE.

More often than not I colour my images up before I choose DPs, layout and embelishments - but I have been trying a few the other way around to see which I prefer. I think you can find yourself stuck in a habit when there is a easier option. The jury is still out on this one for me though - but when I have a gorgeous image that suits a specific DP then the colours can make or break the match. This is a digital DP from Bearly Mine Designs - and the cherries and daisies suited my little gal perfectly.

Time for a Cuppa - if you can get the mouse out of the pot!!!!

Isn't this little guy the cutest - my hubby and I were trying to decide if he's going "OH NO" or if he's yawning because he's just woken up - LOL. Either way I think coffee should be the cuppa of choice with this little mouse taking up residence in the tea-pot - LOL.

This is The Door Mouse from Just INKlined's Wonderland range of stamps. You can buy him separately HERE or as part of the complete set HERE.

I used some Cosmo Cricket DP which I just love. I didn't want to cover the whole pattern up so I overlaid some stamped acetate over the right hand side. The stamp is Gratuitous Graffiti by Stampin' Up and I used Stayz On ink to stamp it. The clock is from the Tim Holtz Weathered Clock die cut once in white and offset with another one cut in DP.

Magnolia Down Under Challenge #95

This week we have a fun challenge for you over at Magnolia Down Under Challenges - and it's not too hard! You need to use Kraft on your creation somewhere. Now for those of you who are unsure Kraft is the "cardboard box" coloured CS that is available.

For my card I've mixed some Kraft CS with SU's Kraft taffeta ribbon and used my copic E43 which is pretty close to Kraft too - so everything ties together well. The DP is Websters. I cut the background "gate" using my craft robo and slotted my image in between the bars. I've made this card for my sister's 50th Birthday which is on May 10th - now I could make myself feel better and mention she's my older sister but that would be mean - LOL.

Happy Birthday Shaz!!!

And if you are looking for MORE fabulous inspiration I've had a sneak peak at some of the MDUC DT's work and WOW - go check it out on our blog HERE.

PLEASE SCROLL DOWN FOR MY TPS BLOG HOP CARD

This week Tickled Pink Stamps is sponsoring Sketch Saturday and a couple of the Pink Ladies got to play along too. There is a TPS prize up for grabs and the sketch is just fabulous - as always from this wonderful challenge site.

I've used the gorgeous Lil Fairy Kira on my card (available HERE) and paired her with some wonderful Websters DP - does anything look bad on Websters - LOL???? I love this fairy - she has such a fabulous attitude and I think the black accents suit her personality - especially when mixed with the softness of the colours, feathers and flowers - she's a wonderful mixture of personalities and will suit any style of card.

The chipboard is from Scrapware Australia.

Mother's Day With Mo

I just thought I'd show you the card I made for my mum for Mother's Day - which we celebrate on the second Sunday in May here in Australia. When I saw these fabulous images from Mo Manning I just KNEW I would use them for my mum. Now I don't want to imply my mum is a bad cook - because she's not - it's just that she appreciates a bit of humour and isn't a flowery sort of woman. And just a piece of trivia - the name "Mo" is short for Maureen - which also happens to be my mum's name and my dad was the only one who ever called her Mo!

The images I've used are 'Imperfection' (available HERE) and 'Vintage Stove' (available HERE) - and I gave the stove the vintage enamelled look like my nan's old stove. These fabulous DPs from October Afternoon are perfect for the look I was going for. I merged my images together and then cut them out as one to pop up on my embossed panel.

I've used this week's fabulous Sketch Saturday sketch for my layout. The sentiment was printed off on my computer and was a mix of quotes I found surfing the internet. The red flowers and leaves were made using my Magnolia dies and the rolled flower was made using my MFT die.

I'm also entering this into Copic Oz's Challenge - Celebrate Women.

The Just INKlined DT get together on the first Monday of the month for a DT blog hop - and this one is hosted by the gorgeous Jak Heath. The theme is Clean and Simple (CAS). And just to sweeten the pot there are 5 spot prizes hidden somewhere along the way for 5 lucky commenters.

The hop starts at Jak's Blog and if you're already hopping you should have arrived here from there as I am next - so not too far for you to go back - LOL!!!

I've used the FABULOUS Cheshire Cat - available HERE - and I added the computer sentiment before I printed him off to keep the clean lines. I must say CAS cards must be the hardest style for me to do - I sooo want to keep gluing things on. I did go a little bright with the colours and snuck a little background layer and some pearls in though - sorry Jak - you're just lucky I stopped there - LOL. The DP is from my SU stash.

Now it's time to CASually hop on over to Toni's Blog.

And if you get lost along the way here's the complete hop list and you'll find the links on my left sidebar under the Just INKlined logo...

Jak, Debbie {me}, Toni, Meesh, Karen, Cathy, Heidy, Joyce, Jeni

Hope you have some good clean fun!

The Craft's Meow Release Day Blog Hop

THIS IS MY 3RD POST FOR THE DAY SO PLEASE SCROLL DOWN TO CHECK OUT WHAT ELSE I HAVE HAPPENING!

Woohooooo - it's release day for these amazing stamp sets by Nina B Designs for The Craft's Meow - and to celebrate we're having a Blog Hop! But firstly let me congratulate yesterday's prize winners - listed on our blog HERE. We hope you've LOVED the previews as much as we have loved playing with these gorgeous stamps - our fourth and final set for this release is called "Butterfly Kisses"

Lisa has some FABULOUS prizes on offer for our special day today - check these out....

* Butterfly Kisses stamp set (today's showcase)
* Sarah's Butterfly Kisses card kit
* Lush 2 Turquoise Prize Package from My Mind's Eye!!! Includes one each of the patterned and flocked papers, plus all the accessories!!!

Once again, the prizes will be awarded based on random drawing from the comments left on THREE of the Team blogs listed below! You won't know whose blog has the prize so you'll want to leave a comment on each blog for more chances to win. But please play fair... only ONE comment per blog!

You have until 11:00 pm Pacific (May 1st) to make the rounds! The winners will be announced tomorrow on the TCM Blog.

But that's not all!!! One lucky person drawn from all comments made on the TCM blog by 11:59 pm Pacific on Tuesday, May 3rd will win the entire May 1st Release!!! Yep, that's the four stamp sets and two card kits. WOW!!! Oh, and when you leave a comment on the TCM blog today, please let us know what themes/types of stamps and/or kits you'd like to see from us in the future! Thanks!

Now you should have hopped here from Ivana's Blog if you are already hopping - but the fun all stars at The Craft's Meow Blog if you've just dropped in here with a cuppa. And while you're at the TCM blog check out the full reveal of these fabulous sets and Sarah's card kits

For my card I've chosen to use the faux silk technique which involves stamping your image onto tissue paper. This also meant I could orientate the fabulous fairy image the other way around as the ink soaks through to the other side - I think she suited my layout better this way! And if you know me you know I can't let a colouring opportunity go to waste - LOL. So out came my son's Derwent pencils to add some more interest to her wings - I also popped a little fairy dust on them too! The GORGEOUS DP is from Pink Paislee and is one of the papers Lisa has in stock instore - I'm sooo glad she had already cut it for me as I'm not sure I would have had the strength - LOL.

EDIT - click HERE for the link to the Faux Silk Tutorial I used - I apologise for not adding it sooner.
Your next stop on the hop is Jean's Blog and here's the complete list if you get lost along the way....

Emerald Faeries Challenge #1

PLEASE SCROLL DOWN FOR MY TICKLED PINK STAMPS PREVIEW CARD

WOW - it's finally here - the very first challenge for The Emerald Faerie Garden and it's an easy one to get you started - ANYTHING GOES. You can check out what the rest of the DT have come up with and the challenge rules at our blog HERE.

I decided to think outside the "card" as it were and do something a little different. I found these fabulous glass tea-light candle holders at my local $2 type store and knew I would find a use for them somewhere down the track.
I've used the gorgeous Kayla and Twinkie - available HERE. I used the digis as I had to re-size them to fit inside the globe and print one in reverse to they would look OK as the globe spun around. I coloured them both up to match and then cut the "front"one out. I then stuck the "back" picture up on a backlit window and used a glue that gives me "moving" time to line the 2 images up. Then I trimmed off the excess on the other side.

I wish you could see this IRL - I have overdosed a bit on the glitter - LOL - it really does sparkle like fairyland as it spins around with the butterflies, wings and flowers all sugared with bling.

Today we are introducing you to Lilith - isn't she just FABULOUS in those bloomers and boots! And the details are just too cool! I've used a digi DP from Crafty Chaos Designs and some fabulous laser cut chipboard cogs from Scrapmatts. The sentiment is cut using my TPS die available HERE. I also used some daisy lace along the edge - I loved that it looked almost like gears and not flowers - LOL

These amazing images will be released on May 7th after 6 days of previews - so don't forget to check them all out at our blog HERE - they'll be a new preview each day. We'll be celebrating release day with a blog hop and as always Kellie will have some prizes up for grabs! If you want a chance to win this cutie for yourself head over to the TPS blog and leave a comment - you'll also get to see the other incredible creations the Pink Ladies have done using Lilith while you're there.
