Horror Girls from Simply Betty Stamps

It's release day over at Simply Betty Stamps and today there are FOUR new images based on characters from Horror Films - but the twist is they are the Horror Girls. You can find them HERE. I have to admit they are a mix of beauty and horror with Betty's unique drawing style.

I've created 2 cards, the first using the character inspired by Pennywise the Clown and the second one inspired by the evil doll Chucky. The other two Horror Girls are based on Edward Scissorhands and Jason Voorhees from the movie Friday the 13th.

For my Pennywise card I merged the image onto a B&W checkered background before colouring her in. I also added some colour to the background to make it a little more crazy.

My Chucky background includes some stamped blood 'splatter' and a couple of die cut crows to add to the creep factor.

Simply Betty Stamps Progressive Challenge - September 2018

It's time for the Simply Betty Stamps September Progressive Challenge and this month the image was designed to celebrate Betty and her husband Chris' 13th wedding anniversary - you can find it HERE. It's a gorgeous image but since the number 13 is included at the base of the characters I couldn't figure out how I could use it for my own purposes so I cropped it out - I hope Betty forgives me!!!

Here are the rules for this month's challenge....

No automatic alt text available.Check out the gorgeous sketch we had to use for the challenge. Not only is the sketch great but the artwork on it was so fabulous that I was tempted just to colour it up as it was LOL. Instead I chose the adorable Lilac Sprite to colour up. Of course there's also lots of my favourite lime green in the mix - it goes so well with the purples ;)
Don't forget to check out the rest of the AMAZING DT inspiration on our BLOGWe also have a very active Facebook Fan Group with additional contests, challenges and inspiration.  We hope to see you there.
