Simply Betty Stamps Showcase - Day Two

Meet London - she's one of 6 fabulous new stamps being released over at Simply Betty Stamps tomorrow. Each "My Kids Emo World" kid comes with their own pet - but they're not your average pet - LOL.

The design team and a couple of special guests are showcasing the new whole range of images over the next couple of days - so pop over and check out the SBS Blog HERE. As I mentioned before the range will be released on Tuesday, June 1st, but they are available for pre-order until May 31, 2010 at 11:59 pm Pacific Time (that's 4.59pm Melbourne time on June 1st FYI) for 10% off - so check them out at the store HERE. And on RELEASE DAY Tuesday there will be a blog hop with a chance to win the entire release!

Once again I've used some Basic Grey DP and I've also used my Martha Stewart punch. I've cut London and her little friend out and popped them up on dimensionals for some extra texture!

I'll be back tomorrow for the RELEASE DAY BLOG HOP!!!

Gift Card Wallet

When I saw Nicole's video tutorial HERE on making this gift wallet for Father's Day I knew I wanted to make one - and I had just the little guy I wanted to pop on the front - this is one of Mo's new Kids - Harvard - isn't he too cute and you can find him at Mo's store HERE! Now we don't celebrate Father's Day here in Australia until September - but I figured this would be a great gift idea for a teacher (just change the sentiment to THANKS maybe - LOL), a child heading off to high school or college, a grandpa's birthday (filled with pictures as well as a gift card) - really the possibilities are endless!

I decided to use THIS fabulous tutorial by Kylie to make faux leather - I've been wanting to give this a go and now seemed the perfect time! I also changed Nicole's sizes for the wallet slightly - the outer cover is 1/2" taller and so is the largest inside piece - this was to make room for Harvard - I didn't want to chop his toes off - LOL. I also added a strip for a clasp - and it's held closed by a small magnet and the back of the brad.

I haven't quite decided who this is going to yet - maybe Grandpa for his birthday??? I've just popped some things on the inside to show you how everything sits and will work out the proper "fixin's" soon - and yes that IS real Aussie money - it's a bit more colourful that some currencies!

FYI I took this photo at about 10pm - I've borrowed a daylight lamp from my sister as I often get frustrated having to wait for the right light during the day - not too bad!!!!

And don't forget to enter my $20 Mo Manning Gift Certificate Blog Candy HERE.

Simply Betty Stamps Showcase - Day One

Meet Christian - he's one of 6 fabulous new stamps being released over at Simply Betty Stamps on June 1st. Each "My Kids Emo World" kid comes with their own pet - but they're not your average pet - LOL. And it's great to see some boy stamps suitable for teenagers coming out - they are few and far between and with a son getting to that age I know I'll be using this guy and his mate Miller (also from SBS) again and again!

I've used some Basic Grey DP and my brand new Tim Holtz Flourish die . I've cut Christian and his little friend out and popped them up on dimensionals for some extra texture!

I'll be back tomorrow for my next image showcase...

There's Just Soo Much Excitement Going On At My Place!

Well I'm going to have to buy myself a wall calender and be super duper organised  - I'm sooo excited to announce that the ultra talented Betty has asked me to be on her Simply Betty Stamps DT - yup - you heard me - how lucky am I - and how glad I gave up work last term - LOL! I love this craft and with a hubby who travels a lot I find myself cuddling up on a chair in the evenings with my images and copics - especially as our Aussie weather deteriorates into Winter - a sad picture but I like it - LOL.

Over the next couple of days the DT and some special guests will be showcasing the new Simply Betty Stamps images which will be released on Tuesday, June 1st - but they are available for pre-order from now until May 31, 2010 for 10% off. And on GRAND OPENING Tuesday there will be a blog hop and a chance to win the entire release!

So check out the Simply Betty Stamps Blog HERE and the Store HERE. We just KNOW you're gonna love Betty's style!

Lil Lolita's DT Challenge

Kellie loves to set her DTs little challenges - and we've been loving the new Lil Lolita range sooo much that our current challenges are all based on them - woohooo - any excuse to play with these cuties! This week Kellie has asked us to team one of the Lolita's with ribbon! Now I HAVE been getting better with using ribbon but when it's a "must have" I admit I've struggled.

I've ended up cheating a little - I made this card before the official Lil Lolita launch and hadn't posted her yet - I do have another card almost done - but the ribbon just isn't working for me on it - I have all sorts of ribbon EVERYWHERE at the moment - LOL. Soooo I'm using this one for the DT challenge - there is a little bit of ribbon on here - if you look close you CAN see it - there on the right with the dragonfly charm hanging off of it - LOL.

This is the lovely Ivy - and she's available now over at Tickled Pink Stamps. The frame was the one I made when I did THIS tutorial for TPS on faux wood frames - so now you get to see it all dressed up - LOL.

I'll post the card I'm working on soon - it will be interesting to see if it ends up with any ribbon on - but for now - it's off to bed for me - I have an early start taking my son off to tennis - and I'm duty mum so I best try and be awake - LOL.

I'm On Top of the World!

About a month ago I got some FANTASTIC news - I had been chosen to be Miss May for Mo's Dream Team - wooohooooo. Now anyone who knows me knows I'm a HUGE Mo Manning fan and have had a WONDERFUL time bringing her amazing artworks to life with a bit of colour and sparkle over the past year or so. The month of May has been amazing for me to be a part of this extremely talented group.

BUT GUESS WHAT!?!?!?!?!? They've asked ME to stay on as a permanent member of the Dream Team - aaaaaaaagh! You should have seen me as I read the email asking IF I was interested (let me think about that for at least half a second - LOL). I had to read it several times and then a HUGE smile appeared on my face and my legs started doing a dance under the table all by themselves - I'm sure my kids thought I was having some sort of mental health breakdown - LOL.

To celebrate my good fortune I'm offering up a little bit of Mo - a Mo gift certificate that is - to the tune of $20!!!! This gift is also thanx to my dear friend Kristy - there's a funny story here which I won't bore you with but I'd like to thank her for her sweetness and generosity.

So how do you win this fabulous prize - just leave me a comment and tell me which Mo image is your favourite. I'll randomly select one person to receive this gift certificate - nope - you don't have to do anything else - although if you want to become a follower or advertise the candy I won't mind - LOL!!! And because it's Kristy's birthday on June 8th I'll draw the prize then. So good luck!

P.S. I'm still pinching myself - LOL

Mo's Summer Fairy Finna

Isn't this little fairy just adorable??? She's Mo's most recent entry into the fairy realm and I had her printed off about 1/2 hour after I first saw her - LOL. You can find her over at Mo's store HERE if you love her as much as I do. I love her thoughtful expression - she could be dreaming over her fairy love or missing a friend!

But I then faced a bit of a challenge - I've never coloured using ethnic skin tones before!!! So I hit good ol' google up for some links - and found several different versions - and none of them used copic colour blends I had, so I was on my own! I ended up using E37, E35, E33 and E31. As she's a mythical creature (shhh I don't really want to believe this - LOL) I used some artistic licence for her hair - she does need to be a little camouflaged in the garden! Her wings are all sparkly after being drenched in dazzling diamonds.

The DP I've used is from Basic Grey's Porcelain paper pad - I LOVE this pad! The sentiment is from SU. I've used this week's fabulous Our Creative Corner Sketch.
Now here's a little tip for you - if you pop over and join Mo's Facebook site HERE you'll see lots of amazing creations, hear all the gos from Mo and every now and then there may be a 12hr sneaky freebie like this one was!

xXx

This One's A Bit Bright!

This is unheard of for ME - I've managed to fit 3 challenges into one small card - woohooo! But apologies if you feel the need to pop on your sunglasses - LOL. I was lucky enough to stamp this cutie off when I had the TPS girls over - thanx Kristy! She is just sooo adorable! I think she looks like she's holidaying on some tropical isle - just where I'd like to be as we head into Winter here in Oz! I've cut her floral headband out and popped it up for some extra fun! And if the sun were shining here - you'd see how much this sparkled!

Now onto the challenges I'm entering...

The wonderful new look Anya Ink asked for an easel card - tick (I love easels - LOL)
The Pink Elephant ask that you use the colour orange - tick  ( I actually love the colour orange but I know lots of people don't - poor orange!!!)
Mad for Markers ask you use feathering - tick (I used copics Y00 and YR00 for her dress and flowers - and thanx for the tutorial - it's such a fun technique)

The DP was from Kristy's Delicious Papercrafting store - if she doesn't have papers you'll LOVE you are just toooo darn fussy - LOL. This one is from October Afternoon's Thrift Shop, the 8x8 pad. I computer generated the sentiment - and my son and I were trying to remember the words to this song all morning - it wasn't very pretty for anyone's ears - LOL

Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge #30 - How Charming

I'd like yo introduce you to the wickedly cute Pure Poison from Kraftin' Kimmie. Kellie has just got her instore at Tickled Pink Stamps and I just couldn't wait to colour her up after she landed in my mail box! Now I'd like to hope she was whipping up a love potion - but who knows! That deliciously sinister smile could be holding onto all sorts of secrets - LOL.

I thought I'd add one of my fabulous pirate charms so that I could enter this into this week's Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge - How Charming! The DP is Pirate Princess by Rusty Pickle and the ivy stamp is from SU. The charm and the rhinestone flourish are also from Tickled Pink Stamps.

The colours don't quite pop here like they do IRL - but then my camera is on the fritz so I'm lucky that I can take any pics! Am trying to figure out whether to repair or replace! Wish me luck!!!

Burtonesque Dolls Challenge #4 - An Affair to Remember

This week's challenge from The Burtonesque Dolls is "An Affair to Remember" - you need to create something based on The Corpse Bride. Our marvellous sponsor this week is Busy Beauties Boutique - and we are honoured to be using their recently released images designed with The Corpse Bride in mind.

I've used Victor the Groom on my card - and have given him a bit of an Andy Warhol treatment - LOL! I came up with this idea recently but it's taken me a while to be able to use it on a card - Victor and TBD challenge gave me the opportunity to see if it worked out . The sentiment is computer generated and I haven't added too many embelishments because I think the bright colours are enough - AND it's a male card - LOL.

So hop on over to see what the rest of The Burtonesque Dolls have come up with and hopefully it will inspire YOU to experiment with your dark side - LOL

It Wasn't Me!!!

I just LOVE Mo Manning's kids! And the grumpy little gal on the left is just toooo adorable - maybe it's because as a mother I can relate to a cross-armed grumpy little thing pouting at me - but at least this one I don't have to deal with once I print her out and colour her up - LOL.

The idea if playing with mum's things also holds fond childhood memories - and the trouble my sisters and I would get into - hahaha. My mum was never really one for make-up - but I do remember she loved building models and we would play car crashes with them - oops - sorry mum! And my dad's things didn't survive intact either - you should have seen his face when he discovered us soaking the stamps off his limited edition first day covers for our own humble stamp collections!

So these cuties are not only fabulous images - they also make me reflect back to when I was a child - and when my own kids were younger! These gals are Two Jill (left) and Ella in Trouble (right) and can be found at Mo's online store - HERE.

The DP is Basic Grey and the sentiment was computer generated - but something I remember hearing once or twice - LOL

BUT WAIT - are you a watercolourist and didn't think you could USE digis - well one of the lovely lady's from Mo's Dream Team had some fabulous hints for watercolouring digis HERE - thanx Mina - I know at least one friend of mine who is over the moon!

Magnolia Down Under Challenge #47 - Shaped Cards

This week's challenge at Magnolia Down Under will get your creative juices flowing for sure - you need to make a "Shaped Card" - and trust me when I say I'm in awe of some of the AMAZING work our DT has come up with - even if there does seem to be a strawberry theme no-one told me about - LOL. Go check out the DTs work HERE.

I had a very special little lady in mind when I made my card. A good friend of mine had a sweet baby girl last week - 8 weeks prem and some extra challenges to face - but she's a fighter and I wanted to make something extra special for her. When I first thought of making a baby carriage card I wasn't sure if it would be for a boy or a girl - but the arrival of baby Maeve meant out came the pink papers, flowers and glitter.

I used THIS tutorial for inspiration - such a simple yet effective idea! I used one of my rectangular nesties to take out the "wedge" shape though - instead of cutting with pattern scissors. The DP is from Magnolia.

It's going to be such a fun and inspiring week of fun shaped cards - I can't wait to see what you guys come up with!

Tickled Pink DT Challenge

Kellie often sets her Tickled Pink DT a little challenge - and this week she's asked us to use one of her FABULOUS Lil Lolita range of stamps and some "tickled" pink mixed with black or brown and cream or white. I've gone with black and white with the pink and the gorgeous Lylah. I've also used one of the square doilys Kellie is now stocking at Tickled Pink Stamps. The patterned acetate was sooo much fun to use and I was lucky to "pinch" a piece from Kristy last weekend. Some stickles around the edges and Lylah is all ready to party!

And the exciting news - Kellie now has these gorgeous stamps INSTORE and ready to ship....so what are you waiting for????

Busy Beauties Blog Hop with The Burtonesque Dolls

If you've stopped by to see my Mo Manning Blog Hop Cards please scroll down to the next post!

Busy Beauties are releasing some marvelously macabre new images today and have asked The Burtonesque Dolls to celebrate! Their new images are inspired by the Tim Burton classic, "THE CORPSE BRIDE", and BBB illustrator Thomas Goins has really outdone himself with these amazing images! These fabulous images are right up the Dolls' alley, so we were invited along for the hop *and* are super excited to announce that Busy Beauties will be sponsoring our challenge next week too!

Check out all the hop stops for today beacause there are prizes so fab, it's freaky! Be sure to hop along and leave lots of comment love, because there are TWO Secret Beauties or Dolls along this Burtonesque inspired hop… and TWO winners will be selected from their blog comments to receive 5 (yep, FIVE) Busy Beauties images of his/her choice! So whether you are in the mood to be beauty-ful or get funky, we've got you covered.

If you're following the hop you should have dropped in here from Rachel's blog

For my card I've used this fabulous marionette puppet image by Busy Beauties and a wonderful sketch by the very talented Catherine. The marionette is from a previous release but suits the new images fabulously. I did squish the sketch up a bit but all the elements are there - LOL. The DP was from some I bought a long time ago. I used my craft robo to cut the black framework on the side of my image and my nesties on the striped layer. I've cut out and toled the marionette for extra dimension - the picture on the left shows this better. I've used my black spica pen on the black details on the puppet - I just wish it showed up in photos!
The next stop on your blog hop is Barbara's blog. I hope you enjoy hopping around the world with the slightly twisted teams from Busy Beauties and The Burtonesque Dolls.

Mo's Dream Team Blog Hop

YAY - as Miss May for Mo's Dream Team I get to play along on their monthly Blog Hop - woohooo! This month's theme is FLOWERS and was set by the lovely Mina. If you arrived here from Lori's blog you're heading in the right direction. I was sooo excited to be a part of this hop that I ended up making TWO cards - LOL. I've used 2 of Mo's gorgeous baby fairy's - I LOVE fairys!

My first card is an circular easel card and I've used Baby Fairy Yuriko. I wanted it to look like she was flitting around the garden so I made an extra large flower for the base of the easel. I've used my Lauren Meader rambling rose cut file and enlarged the pieces before cutting out with my craft robo. Some scrunching, glue and stickles and my flower was done! The card is created using my largest circle nestability. I used WordArt to create the sentiment to wrap around my image. This glitters sooo much IRL - there's dazzling diamonds on her wings, stickles on the large flower and around the scalloped edge - and I used my clear Spica pen on Yuriko's hair and dress.

I used Baby Fairy Flora for my second card - with her chubby little legs and sparkling wings she makes me wish there really are fairies playing in the back of my garden - and how SWEEEET would it be if they looked like this cutie! I've given Flora her own floral "playpen" using my MS punch and some sweet daisy lace trim I found. A mix of flowers for her to hide amongst adorn the top of the card with the honey bees buzzing around.

All the images on the hop, and sooo sooo many more, are available from Mo's Online Store HERE - and don't forget to join Mo's Facebook page too for all the news and chats!

The next flowery stop on your hop is Kerttu's blog. So off you go - hope you enjoy it!

News From Delicious Papercrafting And General Goings On

Before I tell you the news I have for you wanted to apologise for being MIA in my blogging visits this last week. I've been struggling with a nasty cold and haven't had much of a voice. I've also had to organise quite a few things too at home. I've was lucky to have had my DT work done ahead of schedule so it's been popping up regularly while I've been "creatively challenged" - LOL.

Last weekend I had some of the Tickled Pink Stamps DT come to my place for the weekend. I was lucky to have recovered my voice for the weekend as there was plenty of chat and laughter to be had. As it was the first time some of us had met - and Kellie had recently launched her own line of gorgeous stamps - I decided to give Kellie a little gift to celebrate the occasion - after all she put the team together!!! I stamped the range of Lil Lolita's into a "group shot". I then gave them all red hair in honour of Kel - and they all have a touch of "Tickled Pink" somewhere too. Apart from that I coloured them in B&W and framed them in a simple back frame. I'm glad to say Kellie LOVED it - phew!

During the course of the weekend Princess (aka Kristy) asked us if we would all be a part of her Delicious Papercrafting DT - well of course we all said YES!!! Kristy has some AMAZING paper pads on sale - as well as Sweet Pea and TGF stamps, and other fabulous papercrafting goodies. Kristy has also started a blog to showcase some of the products she has on offer - check it out HERE and  don't forget to become a follower to keep up with any specials and news.

Here's a group shot of the DT we took on the weekend. Am just wishing we'd taken this on Saturday morning when we were all feeling a little less sleep deprived - LOL.
From Left to Right we have the Delicious Pink Ladies - Kellie, Fran, Kristy, ME and Kylie C.

As a special welcome to the DT and with the launch of the blog Kristy was feeling extra friendly - LOL - and has decided to have a store wide sale of 15% off store wide from Today 20/5 to 22/5. So make sure you pop over to the store HERE to check out the bargains! Don't forget to check out the 2nd hand sell off section too where Kristy has some used stamps and Prisma pencils etc.

Wishing you some delicious papercrafting that leaves you feeling tickled pink - LOL.

Burtonesque Dolls Challenge #3 - Burton Elements

This week The Burtonesque Dolls Challenge has been sponsored by one of my favourite stamp companies - Tickled Pink Stamps! The fact that owner Kellie is a good friend and I'm on her DT doesn't mean I'm biased at all - LOL - and it's GREAT to have fun with 2 of my DTs at the same time!

The challenge this week is to use "Burton Elements" - black flowers and skulls.

I've used the fabulous Ivy from Tickled Pink Stamps and have paired her with some DP I bought from Kristy's Delicious Papercrafting Store - she has a FABULOUS range of paper pads - this one is Bayberry Cottage by Pink Paislee (oops I originally said Queen Bee - thanx for the correction Kristy - LOL). The skull charm and doily are from the TPS store. I made the black flower using my Lauren Meader rose cut file - it's actually made using alternating layers of black and grey - and the grey petals have been sponged with black. I found using just black CS didn't give enough depth to the flower - it just looked a bit like a black ball - LOL.

The other Pink Ladies have been invited to be guests for this challenge so there's bound to be an AMAZING array of fabulous creations with BOTH these fabulous DTs working to inspire you! So don't forget to pop pop on over to The Burtonesque Dolls Blog AND the Tickled Pink Stamps Blog  and check everything out!

Hope you get a chance to join in too!

Another New Release From Spesch Stamps

This is another of the latest "Wedding" release from Tracey at Spesch Designer Stamps. This image is the second of 2 from this release that will be available in clear polymer in limited numbers as well as being digital. The sentiment is also by Spesch Stamps and has been designed to compliment the images - there are a number of different sentiments in the set. Check out the complete release at the store HERE or at the blog HERE.

For my card I've used some DP from Kaiser and my heart CB embossing folder. The flowers were made using my Nellie Snellen flower punches and some pearls. A touch of lace finishes everything off.

Spesch Stamps "Wedding" Release

One thing I LOVE about Tracey at Spesch Stamps is that she has realised there just aren't many - if any - engagement images around and she has tried to fill that void. Last month I showed you THIS fabulous image for an engagement and this month Tracey is releasing this one - along with some other FABULOUS images for weddings, bridal showers and pregnancy. Tracey also has a fabulous set of sentiments to go along with these images! Go and check out more of this new release and see what the DT has come up with at the Spesch Stamps Blog and check out the new store HERE - just be aware this site is only new so there may be a few teething problems.

This image is one of 2 from this release that will also be available in limited numbers as a clear polymer stamp - along with Bonnie from an earlier release.

For my card I've used some Basic Grey DP and some chipboard corners which I have sprayed with gold glimmermist. The diamond ring has dazzling diamonds on the "stone" and I've used my gold spica pen for the band.

I'll have another card to show you using an image from this release - I'll be back with that tomorrow.

Mo Meets Friday Sketchers #101

As soon as I saw this fabulous new image from Mo Manning I knew it was for me - what am I saying - it IS me - LOL. Most mornings I sit in my bathrobe and hop on my green laptop to blog and check emails - and if I'm really lucky my DH makes me a cappucino - BLISS. Even my son asked "Where do you want me to put you?" as he held my coloured image up to clear the table - LOL.

For the layout I've used this week's Friday Sketchers sketch #101 for inspiration and computer generated a sentiment to fit the way I feel - LOL! The DP is Basic Grey. The flowers also make this card eligible for this week's challenge over at Mo's Challenges where thay are asking you to use flowers.

If you love this image as much as I do - pop on over to Mo's store and grab it for yourself!

It's a Pirate's Life For Me

Recently Mo Manning released some fabulous piratey images - I've used First Mate Kate and some of the background set before - but I have been wanting to colour up Captain Hugh too. I coloured up the kegs and then found out they wouldn't fit into my layout properly - so I cut them down into single elements to create my scene. I've used some crystal effects on the telescope to give it an almost realistic lens. And it looks like Cap'n Hugh has some help with his search with his parrot up in the corner!

I've used some Magnolia DP and a computer generated sentiment.

Check these gorgeous images out - and sooo much more -  at Mo's Online Store - HERE.

Burtonesque Dolls Challenge #2 - Burton Chicks

This week's challenge at The Burtonesque Dolls is titled "Burton Chicks" - you have to create a card using any image that would fit in a Tim Burton Movie!

This week our wonderful sponsor is our gorgeous fellow DT member Jen Shults and her Wild Flower Kids Stamps. Jen is kindly donating 5 digi's for this week's challenge winner. This image is one of her newest releases, Iris - isn't she STUNNING!!! I have to thank my lovely friend Jodie for inspiring the colour scheme for the hair - I recently saw a card she had made and just knew it would be right for Iris!
The DP is from Magnolia and I have stamped some Autumn Leaves Flourishes in the corners. Some black lace, black rhinestones and a MS butterfly finish off a fairly simple layout! I've also used some dazzling diamonds on her wings and pendant. Her facial swirls have been covered using my black spica pen for some added drama.

Be sure to pop over the TBD Blog and check out what the rest of the DT have made of this challenge - there's something for everyone who loves fun and funky!

Lolita number 3 from Tickled Pink Stamps is the fabulous Lylah. She's all ready to party with her present in tow and her cute party dress on! But look at that face - she's full of mischief too! Another fun image to play with - one I find to be an interesting mix of cute and funky - FABULOUS! Don't forget to check out the rest of the AMAZING DT cards using Lylah HERE and give yourself a chance to win this beauty. And come back tomorrow to meet another gorgeous Lolita! The stamps will be up for pre-order on the very last preview day starting midnight.

For my card I used some Websters paper in the background and cut the black frame with my craft robo. I've used my SU weathered stamp on the teal background to give it some more interest. The black flower was made using Lauren Meader's Rambling Rose cut file and my craft robo. A little scrunching and stickles and it's done.

I haven't made a rectangular card for some time - it was fun to revisit but I'm firmly a square card kinda gal atm - I just couldn't fit the black frame on a square card - LOL.

Magnolia Down Under Challenge #45 - Paper Tole

This week's challenge at Magnolia Down Under is to use paper tole - you need to give your images a 3D effect. I love this technique - it may take a some extra time but the results are worth it. Mind you - I may have gone a little overboard with this card - LOL. I've toled 4 different Magnolia images - the stone window, Tilda, Little Fairy Tilda and the snail (my touch of whimsy - LOL).

The stone window has 3 layers - the outside scene, the window and the stones and mantel around the window. I used a stylus to shape the "stones" around the window to give them a more curved shape. I've also used my stylus on the snail shell - not that you can tell here - LOL.

My DP is from Magnolia and came from Kellie's Tickled Pink Stamps store. The flowers are from both Bizzy Bec's and TPS. I've used my MS punch to create the trellis - which has been glittered up with dazzling diamonds. The leaves are from my new SU bird punch - the branch he sits on - these are great branches for other uses too!

Now don't forget to pop on over to MDUC and check out the rest of the AWESOME inspiration from this week's DT group.

And if you missed it scroll down to my earlier post revealing Tickled Pink Stamps newest gal - Evie!

I'm entering this into Just Magnolia's "It Takes Two" challenge and Bizzy Bec's "Embellishments and Bling" Challenge.

Meet EVIE by Tickled Pink Stamps

This is Evie - the second of five fabulous new Lolita stamps by Tickled Pink Stamps - isn't she the cat's meow - LOL. I can just imagine her on Halloween cards, birthday cards, etc - she soo funky and fun! There are some more AMAZING cards done by the TPS DT using Evie HERE and if you leave a comment on the TPS blog you have a chance of winning this cutie for yourself. The Lil Lolita stamps will be up for pre-order on the very last preview day starting midnight.

Once again I used Kellie's sketch for the new TPS monthly challenge - it's such an easy sketch to use! The DP I used is from SU - it's part of their Halloween release last year and which my lovely friend Donna kindly sent me to play with - it goes brilliantly with the spiderweb embossing folder and these beautiful colours. The sentiment was computer generated.

Now the DT were having a little fun with Da Boss Lady - when you look at the DT cards check out how many have varying shades of red hair - in honour of the lovely Kellie! Each of the characters released will have at least one red head amongst them - LOL.

Don't forget to pop back tomorrow to meet Lolita number 3!

Tweedledum and Tweedledee set the theme for this week's challenge over at Oh, Alice. Those two curious little Tweedles have asked us to create a card, layout, or project for a CHILD.

I can't believe I've missed soo many Oh,Alice "chapters" - too much other DT work to get done! And guess what - in a way THIS is for one of my DTs too - LOL. This week I was asked to use these cute Baby Buds and some buttons for Tickled Pink Stamps. I thought this cute guy would look adorable as the Tweedle Twins - his real name is Owie.

The heart buttons were made using THIS fabulous tutorial from Whiff of Joy Inspirations Blog. I first saw them on the Divine Miss Dena's blog and thought WOW - I gotta try THOSE out - LOL. They were simple and sooo much fun!

The gorgeous DP is from Websters.

And don't forget Kellie has these fabulous personalised stamps for sale at Tickled Pink Stamps too - if you can't find them instore check back - Kellie will be listing them again soon! Or stop in and get a Gift Voucher for Mother's Day!!!

Burtonesque Dolls Challenge #1 - Stripes

Welcome to the very first Burtonesque Dolls Challenge. The challenge is to use STRIPES in your design - they can be straight, wavy, diagonal or any which way you like! We have proudly been sponsored by Stamp Insanity and this fabulous image - Lita - is one of three that the challenge winner will win!

Along with Lita I've used some funky DP from my stash - I believe it's from Cherry Arte. I used my cuttlebug star embossing folder to give Lita a Rock Star background and then gave her the celebrity glitz by coating it with Dazzling Diamonds. The black ring was cut with my nesties. The swirls are made using my sizzlits die and the rose is made using Lauren Meader's Rambling Rose Cut File -check it out HERE. I've used my Craft Robo to cut out the flower layers - though I didn't use the large scallop looking piece but 2 of the largest flower pieces instead. I also just scrunched the petals rather that making the rose more formal like Lauren's. The sentiment was computer generated.

Now off you go to check out the rest of the AMAZING inspiration from the rest of the Dolls HERE. I look forward to seeing YOUR take on this fun challenge!

And congratulations #37 Carolyn -  you are my blog hop winner for the 3 Spesch Designer Digital Stamps - please email me at rdpam@hotmail.com to claim your prize. Thanx to everyone who commented, it made my day.

Miss May for Mo's Dream Team

Boy did I get some exciting news last week - I got chosen to be a part of Mo Manning's Dream Team for the month of May - that's right - I'm Miss May - wooohooooo. Of course I was going to go ALL out and make myself a sash and parade around all month wearing it - but my kids wouldn't let me - Kill Joys!!! I have been a HUGE fan of Mo's images ever since my friend Kellie introduced me to them at Stamp Camp last year. I have addictions to some stamp companies, and these cuties are one of them.

I really wanted to celebrate being chosen as Miss May and thought of all the times I enjoy celebrating. Christmas HAS to be the top of my list - it's Summer here in Australia, it's a time for everyone to celebrate and I get to deck my house out in all it's Christmas glory - it only takes me 3 days to unpack the boxes and put everything out - haven't figured out WHY it's takes a week to put it all away after?!?!?!

So I made my first Christmas card of the year to start the celebrations....isn't this little guy the cutest - his name is Sticky - watch those fingers on your furniture - LOL!!! I've had him for a while but he missed out on last Christmas - so it's only fair he helps me celebrate now! You can find him at Mo's store HERE.

Once again I've used my Martha Stewart border punch to frame my image - check out Norma's amazing tutorial on how to do this HERE - simple and yet FABULOUS! The DP is from Basic Grey's Figgy Pudding range. The candy cane has been covered is sparkle using my clear spica pen - it looks great IRL.

Once again THANX to Mo's Dream Team for having me along for the ride this month!

Delicious Papercrafting Open For Business!

YAY - Kristy's store Delicious Papercrafting is now OPEN for business - Sorry Australian residents only!!!! I wanted to show you another of the Sweet Pea stamps I bought from her - I've been hanging onto these gals waiting to show them off once the store was open! After the dramatic black, red and white of my last Sweet Pea card I decided on more muted tones for this gorgeous gal! And my favourite colour green makes an appearance too.

The DP is from one of my Basic Grey paper pads - I know Kristy is stocking some of these as well as some other AMAZING papers - there goes my bank balance again - LOL.

These Sweet Pea gals amaze me - they really do seem to come to life as you colour them and those eyes - wow - they just seem to follow you! I have one more I haven't coloured - but I think I have just found another rubber addiction - hey at least it's legal - LOL.

And to celebrate the opening Kristy has some fabulous Blog Candy on offer. Check it out HERE.

OK - am off to shop - LOL
