Mo's Challenge #34 - Merge It

I really missed playing along with Mo's challenges during May - I wasn't sure if I should as I was Miss May on the Dream Team! But I've since found out I CAN play along - woohooo - the gals there come up with some fun challenges! This one is to digitally merge 2 of Mo's images into one. There's a link to a  great tutorial on Mo's blog HERE for doing this if you have Paint Shop Pro. Unfortunately for me I don't have this software but I did find some of the tips handy to work out how to do it in PaintNET - a free downloadable software. Please let me know if anyone would like some further instruction on using PaintNET - am happy to put something togethere if there's enough interest.

Since we've just begun Winter here in Australia I though these Inuit children images would work well together for me. I used this week's colour challenge of  "Pastel blue and baby pink" from Colour Create for my images - they liven up this bit of Winter ice. The children certainly take the spotlight here - along with all the sparkle form the "ice" - but with the tones so muted I didn't want to overpower them too much. I hope you have some sunshine in your part of the world to make things sparkle!

You can find Siku and Shiya (the "kissing" couple) HERE and Miki's Puppies HERE if you pop over to Mo's store.

Would love it if you could show how to merge Mo's images in PaintNET.Alot of the other digi's I buy come in a PNG file as well and they can easily be merged in Microsoft office word. But Mo only gives JPEG files and I do not know how to merge these.....so any help would be grateful.
