Lil Lolita's new DT Challenge - Girlie Girl

Another week and another fabulous TPS DT challenge from Da Boss Lady - this week the DT have to think Girlie Girl! Hmmmm - my first thoughts for this theme are pink and sparkly. But then I wander into my 18yo daughter's bedroom and realise there isn't a speck of pink anywhere - and she's very much a girlie girl! When I asked her why I was told that she grew out of Barbie years ago and hasn't been able to look at pink in quite the same way after the overdose that came with everything Barbie - she had a point! So I amped up the colour and went with red - and sparkly - LOL.

I've used Lil Lolita Willow - with her long curling eyelashes she's perfect for this theme! I created some softness with the square and round doilies and a heart charm - all bought from Tickled Pink Stamps - the home of the Lil Lolita's! Oops - just realised this pic hasn't got the stickles on the flowers - added that later - just imagine them sparkly too!!!

And don't forget the next Monthly TPS Challenge starts on June 8th - check it out HERE. For this one you can use stamps from any company stocked by Tickled Pink Stamps - even if you haven't actually bought your stamp there!

Also check out the new challenge blog Kellie's starting up just for the Lolitas - these gals have been such a hit that they deserve their own space in Blogland! Check out The Lil Lolita Boutique HERE

And now for a bit of news - I'm excited to announce that my circle easel Anya card HERE helped me win these banner's I can display with pride....

Challenge #68 in a 3 way tie! Congrats to the other 2 winners too!

AND Sammi's Feathering Challenge!

Phew - think that's all for me for now - LOL.

Saw some of these lace doilys the other day ... and didn't buy them! What was I thinking??? Why was I so restrained??? Because now I am so totally regretting my decision!!! Very girly ... very delicious, Debbie! Thanks for all your lovely comments on my blog! Hugs Andreaxx
