What a quirky challenge we have for you at The Burtonesque Dolls today. If Tim Burton were to write a Vampire Movie what would the movie poster look like??? Now I may have taken the challenge a little tooo literally - but I often do - LOL. I also took the liberty of Tim Burton asking TBD to help with the directing (I know - unheard of - but it's all just a bit if fun) and Simply Betty Stamps helped with the Producing! Afterwards I realised I should have let Simply Betty Stamps be in charge of casting as we are showcasing the fabulous new digital range of Vampy Vamps being released at SBS this week. I've used the Count and Countess but there are SIX new Vampire images to choose from. You can check out what the rest of The Dolls have come up with using these guys HERE.
You also have a chance to win the entire SBS Vampire release - that's 6 quirky vamps - if you enter the challenge this week! And don't foget Betty's sale ends Wednesday, June 29, 2010, at 11:59 pm Pacific Daylight Time at Simply Betty Stamps - check out the amazing deal HERE
For my "poster" which is actually a card for someone, somewhere, sometime - LOL - I used WordArt to create my movie title - not very original but all the good ones have been used lately - LOL. I printed the whole poster off as one onto Vanilla CS - and then re-printed the 2 Vampires. I also added the bat from SBS's "My Pets" digis range. I used a CS circle to mask out a "moon" and sponged grey and yellow chalk around it for the lunar glow. Once I removed the circle I added in some details. Some trees stamped from SU's Branch Out set added some more atmosphere. I then coloured up the separate Vamps, cut them out and popped them up on some dimensionals! I just couldn't leave the whole thing tooo flat - LOL.
One of the things I love about being a Burtonesque Doll is the FUN - I would never have made this up otherwise and I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge! Hope you find some time to play along too!
xXx

Wow, I can't believe it's been so long since I've been round for a visit. I have to stop commenting on every single post or I'll be up all night. Shame on me!!!
But I had to stop here for a moment and say my gosh... if anyone could make those goofy images look good, it's you!!!!
