TGF Relay #3 - Toby Cub

This is my second post for the day - scroll down to see my Stamp Spot DT card! I just realised that the colours and distressing are similar - even though I made these several days apart. I am obviously in a blue, distressed mood - maybe it's the thought of going back to work tomorrow  - LOL.

There were TWO problems playing with this little guy - getting him printed off as my DD17 is sleeping in the office while we re-do her room!! And we ALL know how WELL teenagers sleep in!!! I was getting REALLY close to trying to sneak in!!! I had Toby sitting there on my laptop just waiting to be printed off for what seemed like AGES - probably because it was...

The other problem - DS11 who is HATING being teased about how this cute guy in a nappy is - why you ask??? My son's name is Toby too - LOL.

I used an old Friday Sketchers sketch for inspiration - this "speed stamping" as my friend Lisa puts it - is a challenge - so I needed a little help! I think I need to do some "training" if I decide to play along in future relays - LOL

I've used a favourite colour combo - kraft, blue and white. And this time I went with a more conventional sentiment - a digi ticket from Bizzy Bec's. The DP and CS is from Stampin' Up

Tomorrow's relay card will be a REAL challenge! I'm out this afternoon so will miss the preview and it's back to work tomorrow. I am SERIOUSLY thinking it might be the PERFECT night for takeaway for dinner so I can get it done - LOL

Take away sounds like a great idea! You are very patient to have waited, I don't know if I could have :) I adore your card, it is so so lovely, and the sentiment is perfect, he really looks like he is on his way over for a big bear hug. You will just have to tell your son they are both toby's because they are adorable ;)

I'm feeling stressed just thinking of the pressure you are under to produce your cards! And yet you STILL manage to come up with masterpieces every time! PS This Toby is cute but your Toby is much cuter!

Where wld sibling rivalry be without daggy stampers naming their images sensible names...LOL!!! The edges of this card obviously showing the stress of the hols...hee hee hee, but he is seriously way too cute for words. The joy on this image's face speaks volumes. Just wanna run up and give him a bear hug!! ooxx

Take Out is ALWAYS a good idea, lol!! I mean, you are going to have to go back to work, get back to the daily grind, why not have one last craft-fest beforehand!! Do it!! I have missed an eventful week on your blog, all of these creations are tremendous!!! Such a darling image. Baby blue and white is my fav combo, so I'm okay if you repeat it often!! I worked Tuesday and Wednesday, and the weather was bad on Wednesday so the commute in was not good. I am wondering why I said yes to this part time work, but then I rememeber when I get the check in the mail!! ha ha Good luck getting it all done, it's not easy!

I saw this when it went up, and thought I'd already commented. You see, now I can't tell the difference between my memory and my intentions! It's great, Debbie... pure and simple. Oh, now I remember... I saw it in the TGF Gallery. Whew, I thought I'd lost my mind there...
