Firstly I'd like to thank everyone for their comments and help with respect to my last post about SPAM - and I'm glad I may have helped some of you too. I have switched on Comment Moderation but not word verification - a happy medium as I can see what will get published BEFORE it gets published but I won't burden you with funny words! After looking at the SPAM it was definately a way of communicating so I'm not sure if word verification would stop this if real people were involved! Ah well - I'll see how I go - Live and Learn!
Now onto this post.................
Wednesdays are my DT day over at The Stamp Spot and as I mentioned to you last week Marcia has challenged her DT to use the same stamp for the whole month! This week I've made a cute little fairy lantern for a special little girl. To make sure there are no horrible accidents I'm going to be popping in a battery operated tea light to illuminate the lantern at night.
This stamp is a actually a fairy by Rachelle Anne Miller but I decided to clip her wings so she wouldn't take up the whole of the lantern. I toled the small mushroom again to add some extra dimension too. For some fairy sparkle I've outlined the lantern's "glass" with Ice Stickles - as well as popping some stickles onto her headband and the stamens in the white flower. Some green rhinestones finish off the bling - and what little girl doesn't like bling - or big girls for that matter - LOL.
This fabulous lantern was originally designed as a Halloween lantern by the very clever Donna at Butternut Sage Designs - check her spooky version and the instructions out HERE. I had meant to make a Christmas version but it just never happened!
Don't forget to pop over to The Stamp Spot Online Store for Marcia's fabulous moving sale too - you can pick up the stamp and the stickles there while they are all a BARGAIN!!!
Now to work out what to do with this cutie for next Wednesday!!!
xXx

Cute-to-boot Debbie. So luv this wee stamp....you can just see this lantern (unlit of course) sitting in a little girls room...filled with small secrets of kiddy bling. Just beautiful. The flowers are a perfect addition. I'll give the superlatives a break...so u can have ur coffee... ;)...speaking of which!! BTW...Miss 5 squealed with glee when she saw this!! Note to self...finish tote first...LOL!! ooxx
This is absolutely gorgeous, what a fantastic idea to use a battery operated tea light. I have knocked the word verification off and gone back to comment moderation on, only had one spam while it was off (that was only a week) linking to a flower shop!!! Look forward to next weeks project, take careX:)
Adorable! Love the flowers.

Fabulous project Debbie. Love your floral arrangement. I had one of the comments, only one and I deleted it when it came up for approval.
Hopefully the spam problem is fixed. There is always something isn't there!
This lantern is absolutely adorable. Love all the stickles and flowers. Those battery operated tea lights were fantastic for my daughter's Halloween Birthday night, just remember to turn them off! (not like the girls!)

That is perfection!!!
This is so cute and will look absolutely gorgeous with a tealight inside. Flowers, bling and a gorgeous 'fairy' - a perfect combination for a little girl.

So so cute. Love that little wingless fairy!
hey Debbie...ooollalalllalala this is awesome and what a fairy treat this little someone is going to receive! Your work always outshines my first attempt (pun intended) LOL and it is wonderful. I was asked by some of my followers to remove my word verification and I did and within 48 hours I was getting some really ugly things posted in my comments....so I went back to it. I know it is very cumbersome but I cannot deal with the spam. Hope it all works out for you too! Thank you for the sweet link I appreciate the kind words. You are a special friend. Hugs~Donna
Fantastic project!!!!!!
This is so pretty! Beautiful image and so much effort. kxx
Debbie, what a creative project. Your lantern is wonderful and the image looks so different from the card last week. I like the idea of using the same stamp for a month, shows how many ways a stamp can be used and how it changes with projects and color changes.
OMGosh!! This is just adorable..Fab detail and the little image is so cute.. Very lovely work as always..
Hugs, Linda
