Wednesday at The Stamp Spot

Aaaagh - don't you just HATE it when you've been sick and are running WAAAAYYYY behind on your blurfing and the computer has a mini meltdown!!!! Not really a meltdown - more a go slow - think it was me having the meltdown!!! My son has discovered You Tube and has been watching all sorts of funny videos. Unfortunately this helped us use up our broadband quota for the month and our speed slowed right down - I tried to check in on some blogs and they took 1/2 hour to open!!!! BUT it's the start of the month so we are back at a reasonable speed - phew! Now to find time to catch up.....

In the meantime today is my day at The Stamp Spot and I had decided to use Lelo's Party Dragon from Rachelle Anne Miller - and raced home from work yesterday to finish putting my card together - only to discover that Sue had used the same image - it's just NOT my week - LOL. This isn't the first time Sue and I have done something similar in the same week - we must be in sync!!! Ah well, I quickly had time to put another card together...

At least this way I get to show you one of the new Greeting Farm Miss Anya Dressy's that Marcia has just gotten in at the store. I was one lucky lady to have been given this set - and some other fabulous bits'n'pieces - by my amazingly generous blogging friend Lisa from The Craft's Meow. Lisa was lucky enough to win an amazing prize pack from The Greeting Farm and decided to spread the joy by sharing with some friends - she's a true gem and I'm soo glad to call her my friend.

I love orange but don't often colour with it, but it went beautifully with this Scenic Route DP - and the dark green is a wonderful contrast. Both my cards use a similar layout - so I decided to show both of them to you anyway...

Off to bed now for me - tomorrow's another day and I'm hoping to catch up on all my blog visits!

xXx

Sorry to hear you are still out of sorts. It doesn't seem to be affecting your card making abilities:)) Both cards are terrific. I'm particularly fond of that cuter than cute dragon. Love the EB folder background and that yummy ribbon. Your coloring is awesome as always.

OMGoodness, Debbie, I LOVE your Miss Anya card!!!! It's wonderful!! I love all that orange... and the way you colored her hair...and that beautiful flower embellishment. Yowser! Your little dragon card is very cute, too. I love that whimsical image. Your colors are perfect for a child's birthday card.

I'm so glad to call you MY friend, too! It's funny how much someone can come to mean to you even if you've never met in person. I feel like we have. Perhaps it's our spirits who have met in our dreams!

Love and smiles,
Lisa
