This October I'm going to be doing a special workshop at the Ringwood Library here in Melbourne called The Christmas Table. I was originally asked to just run the card and tag workshop, but the lady who was doing the boxes has had to withdraw - so I'm doing that workshop too.
I wanted the card to be something with a bit of WOW that wouldn't cost me too much to put together - and this is what I came up with! Cuttlebugging some cardstock adds such a WOW and will hopefully also be fun for those who have never seen my wonderful green machine in action. The card was inspired by the wonderful recessed window cards that Tracey Old did here - they may not be the easiest to do but they do have that WOW factor I was after - and I figured it would be more fun for me to teach something a little different! I have also done a couple of other samples to show how you can achieve different looks without the cuttlebug.
I haven't quite worked out what I'll be doing for the box class - but check out the flyer below if you're interested in coming along - or email me for details! It's a GREAT bargain at only $5 per workshop or $12 for all 3!!!!

Good on ya Debbie. This is so fabulous and you are right - the cuttlebug does wonder for adding some wow to plain coloured cards.

Love them both.... have tags to make myself and now you've inspired me to get out my very own green machine. But can I concentrate while the footie is on???

Gorgeous projects Debbie...just sorry I won't be back from US until the week after. May need to book a private lesson! You have certainly achieved the 'wow' factor...but then your cards always have that! Cheers from Boston.
I opened your page and said out loud "oh my goodness" ....what beautiful work you have here my little kangaroo! Love it, I think I will be copying these for a class. Thanks so much for the inspiration Deb! Hugs~Donna
I'm sooo sorry that I don't have cuttlebug. It really does make wonders on cards!
Hugs!
Sandra!
Indeed I do want to come and play! But I'll be there in spirit.
Such lovely creations, Debbie. Deceptively simple... you're right about the embossing. It takes it up a huge notch with out much effort. Your ladies are sure to enjoy and be delighted with their creations!
There you go again, taking on more work! That's because you're a such a wonderfully giving person.
Hugs and love from across the many miles and time zones,
Lisa
Missy, this card and tag are wonderful. You will surely WOW the crowd with these white and red beauties. Can't say no either, hunh? I know that feeling. They are going to just love this presentation, wish I could be there, sounds like fun.
WOW is definitely a word I wld use to describe these Deb!! They are amazing!! Thanks for giving me some idea of what to do with this folder. I got it a couple of weeks ago, but it has not seent he light of day yet (yup...I feel the shame). The crispness of red/white is just FAB. Great job!!!
So pretty!
Just love this card and yes it is WOW! Wish I could come and play but I have so much on that day it is nuts. Hope that it all goes well for you.
Take Care
Sharon
The card and tag are stunning Debbie! I just love them! The recipient will keep them forever as keepsakes guaranteed! :)
I WANNA CUTTLEBUG!!! But ... I just can't have everything ... and you already tempted me to visit the Greeting Farm ... and I ended up "needing" those sweet stamps. You are such a BAD BAD influence, Debbie! Hugs Andrea xxx
PS These are just stunning ... and I am soooo going to try the red & white for some Chrissy cards. But ... I just know it won't be the same without the cuttlebug embossing!!!
