KWerner Color Inspiration #47
Hmmm - here I was thinking this one would be easy for me - but it wasn't. Maybe it was because I got to bed at 2.30am on Saturday night - after seeing the last of my daughter's 17th birthday party guests off!!! AND then I had all the post party clean up in the morning before I had a chance to stamp!! So many floors to vacuum and mop, and furniture to put back!! I can't really complain - the kids were great - all 50 of them!!
I decided to make this card as a Thank You for one of the dads that came to help out at the party - still have a card to make for the other dad! These guys came to help my hubby out as the party was organised AFTER I had made plans for a girl's night out! I admit to feeling guilty while sitting at a lovely Japanese restaurant with friends - but the guys did a great job!
The stamp is from Pocket Silhouettes...

What a wonderful creation, glad the party went well, I myself ended up with not quite 3 hours sleep and had to "try" to function all day yesterday, eventually fell into bed at 10 last night and passed out!
Um, does that image look familiar?
50 teens for your daughter's birthday party!?! Hats off to you, my friend! And then to get a girls' night out into the bargain. I'm impressed! LOL
Being tired doesn't show in this card... it's a great take on that color scheme, and perfect for a guy. I love the layering for your main image. Great job, Debbie!
Hugs,
Lisa
Great card! Love all the scallops! My daughter had her birthday slumber party too on Friday Night! She turned 11, they went to bed around 2 a.m., pretty early for a slumber party, but I'm not complaining! :)
Beautiful card!
Debbie, This card is so pretty! To me you did very very well with the challenge colours and I sure wouldnt have done as well with running on just a couple of cylinders as you were after your late night!
Oh this is beautiful Debbie, I love the colours
Gorgeous composition Debbie! Love it.
I love this card. How did you get your hands on the pocket silhouettes. I love that set that is one on my list. I can't wait to get my hands on that set. That is certainly going to be on the top of my wishlist. Love the sample as always just beautiful.

Debbie I give you so much credit for having 50 kids at your house... LOL! I'm glad all went well and I'm sure you planned an awesome “food spread’ and fun for the kids... and your hubby is such a dear to take over and get a group of guys to help... :) Plus you had a night out on the town… Fun!
What a PERFECT card!! I love the warm rich colors and the Pocket Silhouette set is one of my many FAV's... :) Smiles!!
