The Craft's Meow Preview Day 1

Wow - it's time for previews for The Craft's Meow's newest range of stamps designed by the uber talented Nina Brackett - these stamps will be debuting instore on May 1st (Pacific time). I have been totally awestruck by what the DT gals have done with these stamps - Lisa has gathered a truly amazing group of crafters and I am so honoured to be a small part of it.

Before we get started, I want to give you an overview of what to expect over the next few days. ;)

A release this exciting needs LOTS of prizes to celebrate, and LOTS of prizes are what we have for you! Each day of previews there will be not one, not two, but THREE prizes up for grabs!!! Today's prize offerings are:

* Simply Delightful Stamp Set (being showcased today)
* A My Mind's Eye Hazel 6 x 6 paper pad from the Stella & Rose collection
* A My Mind's Eye Gertie 6 x 6 paper pad from the Stella & Rose collection

The prizes will be awarded based on random drawing from the comments left on THREE of the Team blogs listed below! You won't know whose blog has the prize... neither do we until Lisa draw from a hat...so you'll want to leave a comment on each blog for more chances to win. But please play fair... only ONE comment per blog!

You have until 11:00 pm Pacific tonight (April 28th) - (that's 4pm on the 29th for me here in Melbourne) - to make the rounds! The winners will be announced in the Preview Day 2 post over at our blog HERE.

And if you want a chance to win the ENTIRE May release all you have to do is "LIKE" our facebook page - Lisa is giving away one full set per 100 followers!!! You can find the link on our blog sidebar HERE.

Today's preview set is called Simply Delightful and I've used the main stamp from the set to create a "stained glass" centrepiece. Some texture with the embossing, doily, ribbon and cameo button set it off. I had soo much fun colouring this in - you know I LOVE to colour - and it's really NOT as hard as it seems if you start with the lightest of the colours in a group and then progress up too the smaller, darker areas.

So off you go! Enjoy your first looks at Simply Delightful!!!

Debbie Pamment (ME)
Heather Jensen - due to Heather not having power you can check out her card at the TCM blog HERE

This Day is for the Birds!

Have you ever had one of THOSE DAYS - when nothing is going the way it should??? Well I think this Scarecrow from Just INKlined is having one of those days now! He doesn't seem to be scaring too many birds away from the farmer's crops! I hope his day improves or he may be taken down and his stuffing used to line the chicken coop!

You can find this fun image instore HERE - and how great would he be on Halloween cards too?!?! The fence is a Magnolia die and the birds and grass have been made using Martha Stewart punches.

Another Piece of the Carnival

I had such a blast with Mo and Zo's Mega Carnival Blog Hop that I was inspired to put together another card. This time I've done a recessed window card - you can find a tutorial HERE at Splitcoast Stampers. The fun thing with digis is you can "tweak" them a little. The long, low lines of Make It Crafty's Big Top Tent (available HERE) didn't suit the square recess of my card - so I made it slightly taller and leaner. I've paired it with Mo's fabulous new kid's fundraiser image Cotton Candy - who is available HERE for only US$1 while the hop is still going - so be quick and help out kids in need too!

If you haven't checked out the hop yet you have a few days left - the fun all starts HERE at Jak Heath's blog. You can check out all the prizes on offer HERE at Zoe's blog too. These images are soo much fun to create scenes with - I hope you give them a go too....

Magnolia Down Under Challenge #93 {A Sketch}

This week at Magnolia Down Under Challenges we have a FABULOUS Sketch for you to play along with - drawn by our very own team member the gorgeous Kylie Keuter.

I love to play along with a sketch and this one was just fabulous to use. My DPs are Websters and the lace flower, blue flowers, lace edging and beaded embellishment are all from Magnolia too. The tag was off an new top my daughter bought - I found it in the paper recycling bin and snaffled it for my craft room - LOL.

I was a tad late getting my card onto the Magnolia Down Under Blog ready for this challenge but this meant I got a sneak peek at the gorgeousness created using this sketch by my fellow MDUC teamies - do yourself a favour and Easter Bunny Hop over there ASAP to see the fat free feast for your eyes - and then ink up your Magnolia stamps and come along and join the fun!

In the meantime - HAPPY EASTER!

If you could please email me at rdpam@hotmail.com with your choice of Digi stamp, I will send your details to the other Deb so she can send you the Digi stamp.

And now for the news - in fact I have quite a bit to tell you! I would have popped in sooner with all the news but our PC has caught the dreaded PC flu and my laptop is now our primary computer. So with the kids homework taking priority over my blogging, and hubby wanting computer time too I'm a little behind - so what's new - LOL.

Firstly though - HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE - hope you have an amazing time with family and friends and stay SAFE on the roads!

NOW onto my news - LOL

I am honoured to now be a part of Deb's Creations Emerald Faeries DT - woohooo - I love these gorgeous images. Wish me luck on these AMAZING teams!

Mo and Zo's Mega Carnival Blog Hop

Clowns, fairy floss, sticky fingers, squeals of delight and of course complaints of sore feet and empty purses  at the end of the day... Where are we?

THE CARNIVAL of COURSE...

Zoe from Make it Crafty and Mo from Mo’s Digital Pencil, came together to share the delight and fun of The Carnival. To celebrate - the two fabulously talented teams have come together for a massive blog hop to offer you plenty of inspiration when playing with these images.

Hopefully you have just hopped on over from ALICE'S booth. But if you just popped in to say g’day and want to join us on the super carnival hop then you’ll want to start over at JAK'S booth.

For my card I've paired Mo's sweet clown Jojo with Zoe's Carnival Candy Cart - the fact that Jojo is holding one of the lollipops made this a winning combination for me - she's ready to sell those sticky treats to every little girl or boy who passes by. I couldn't go past Whiff of Joy's fabulous pennant die to add some more carnival fun.

Along the way you will find balloons with a letter in them. Write down the letters as you go because at the very end we want you to guess what the saying is! There will be THREE grand prizes randomly drawn from the correct answers PLUS there will be hidden prizes along the way so make sure you leave some love as you hop along!

Now we know this is a super big hop, but we wanted to make sure you would get LOTS of inspiration! The hop will be open until the 28th April so you will have plenty of time to come back each day with a cuppa to soak it all up! (Just don’t lose the letters you have been collecting!)

We would like to thank our fabulous sponsors, Mo’s Digital Pencil, Make it Crafty, Stamping Bella and Quixotic Paperie for providing the fabulous prizes for this grand carnival hop!

In case you have trouble seeing my balloon – my letter is “S”. Make sure you leave a comment for a ‘possible’ chance at winning some hidden treasure and then your next stop on the hop is MINA'S booth.

And just to add a little more sweetness to the pot there's this new fundraising image on offer from Mo for just $1 - with all proceeds during the hope going to the US and UK Make a Wish Foundation to help out kids - get her for yourself at Mo's Store HERE.

The order for blog hop is - Mo's Dream team -

Jak, Bea, Heidy, Alice, Debbie {ME}, Mina, Kerttu, Elaine....and then continue on to....

Mo's Challenge Team - Cathy, Pat, Dawn, Elaine, Paola, Lisa, Dorcas, Lydia
Until next time - this Carnival is moving on...

Little Frieda Plays with Sketch Saturday

This cutie is Little Frieda's Daisy and she and the gorgeous sentiment with butterfly are from the new range of stamps from The Craft's Meow - you can find both of these HERE. Frieda does come with her own set of sentiments but I've been itching to use this gorgeous set and the time just seemed right. Don't forget to check out The Craft's Meow blog HERE for news and updates - and also on Facebook HERE- and if you "like" the FB page before April 30th you'll be in with a chance to win a set of the four new stamp sets designed by Nina Brackett that are being released on May 1st!

This week little Frieda is playing with the fabulous Sketch Saturday sketch and some Pink Paislee DP

100 Follower Freebie from Just INKlined

As I mentioned in a previous post Just INKlined has started their own group over at Crafter's Digital Art Center and this gorgeous image is the freebie on offer for making it to 100 members. Woohooo - we hit the 100 recently and now you can grab this gal called "Speed Demon" aka Daisy Bumblethorpe, for your own - but you do have to join our group. If you're already a CDAC member the link to our group is HERE. If you're NOT a member I really suggest you join if you like digis - there are some fabulous tutorials and all sorts of amazing groups to join - especially ours - LOL.

I decided that reaching 100 was like racing to a finish line so that's what I reflected on my card. Daisy is breaking through the winner's tape as she pedals along - I thought it was a bit of fun and made a great "congratulations" card.

NEWS NEWS NEWS from my Design Teams!

Hi Everyone - sorry no card for you today just some fun things happening around the design teams I'm on. But first apologies for going MIA - I came down with a suspected virus that had my joints aching and my head thumping. My doctor has had me tested for all sorts of things from Dengue Fever to Arthritis but I'm hoping they'll all come negative next week. I'm starting to feel my old self again but it has taken a toll on my relatively mild carpel tunnel and I'm having issues with cramping and tingling in my hands - but at least I've started colouring again and typing isn't such a chore if I rest when I feel the tingles starting. Enough of the bad stuff here's the news I promised......

Tickled Pink Stamps

Every month for a week Kellie has all the TPS images available as Digis - it's only on once a month and now is the time - check them out HERE!!!

Just INKlined

Just INKlined has just added a Just Inklined Group on Crafters Digital Art Center if you are a member of it already here is the link to join our group http://priscillastyles.ning.com/group/justinklined.

If you haven't joined yet you are missing out on a whole new Digi world, lots of challenges prizes and digi companies are part of the Crafters Digital Art Center.
This will be our free image there once we acheive 100 members - and we're getting close!!!

Mo Manning

Mo's Digital Pencil and Make It Crafty have come together for a spectacular event, we will be hosting a fabulous blog hop together on the 21st April and believe me when I say you don't want to miss this one, so get out your diarys and mark the date, and I'll see you back here on the 21st.

Emerald Faeries Mother's Day Release Blog Hop

When I saw the first release of the Emerald Faeries from Deb's Creations I just fell in love with them. And I was sooo excited when Deb asked me to be a GDT for this her 3rd release of these cuties. Deb is excited to release 2 more beautiful Faerie stamps in both Digi & Rubber to the exclusive Collection only available at the Deb's Creations Online Shop HERE.

These 2 gorgeous new stamps are out just in time for Mother's Day here in Australia and how gorgeous would they be on your cards & other projects. The stamps are now available in Digi format & the rubber stamps are up for preorder!

To celebrate the release please join in on our Blog Hop to see all the gorgeous creations from all the Deb's Creations DT Ladies & GDT Ladies, I'm sure you'll enjoy the journey around the world with us. Don't forget to leave a comment & become a follower on each DT & GDT Blog to have a chance to win a gorgeous Emerald Faerie Digi Stamp for yourself - you get to choose which 1 you would like - there's one available on each stop on the hop.

If you have just joined me then pop on over to Julie's blog to start the journey. If you're already hopping you should have arrived here from Deb M's blog.

Now I'd like to show you to what I came up with for "Kayla and Twinkie" - a gorgeous mother and baby image. I used them to make a little welcome baby gift box.

Here you can see the inside all decorated and ready to add in some cute baby gifts - or maybe a special treat for the new mother. I used digital DPs from Bearly Mine Designs. I loved the fact that I could resize them to fit my project without losing the gorgeous lace element around the edges.

My second creation is a card featuring the adorable faerie siblings "Kenz and Tilly". Having a daughter 6 years older than my son this one really appealed to me as I have fond memories of my own kids cuddling up like this when they were younger. Don't tell them I told you this but they still do cuddle up on occasion, they're just a bit bigger - LOL.

Now for your next stop on this magical hop you'll be heading off to Donna's blog. If you get lost along the way here's the complete hop list for you....

JulieTrudiAnitaRondaLouiseNancyDeb M, Debbie P {that's ME}, Donna
And then there's another group of blogs to hop if you want more chance to check out these cuties and more chances to win - the other group are starting over at Natalie's blog.

I hope you've enjoyed this visit to my little part of Emerald Faerieland and enjoy the rest of the hop!

It's Just INKlined's Blog Hop Time

Just when I'm getting into the swing of March it's all over and here we are at the start of April - which means it's time for another DT Blog Hop from the gals at Just INKlined.
This months theme is brought to you by our hostess with the mostess Jeni, and that's where all the hopping fun begins. Jeni has chosen Bring In Spring for our theme this month. If you are already on the hop you should have landed here from the fabulous Jak's blog.

Now living in Australia we have a looooong way to go before we hit Spring - not until September 1st in fact. But it's always nice to celebrate to re-birth of nature with my friends from the Northern Hemisphere - maybe our Winter won't seem so long that way - LOL.

When I think of Spring I always think of meadows of flowers and my neighbours sunflowers starting their journey towards Summer - so I popped these memories onto my card. I used the Sunflower image which is available HERE and the "meadow" was created using some Basic Grey DP for the background.

For your next stop Spring on over the the gorgeous Toni's blog, where I'm sure they'll be a little piece of sunshine waiting.

And if you get lost along the way here's the hop order for you - all the blog links are on my left sidebar under the Just INKlined logo.
