Arthur Sneeze from Twistoon

Recently I made a digi suggestion over at Twistoon Stamps and within a few days Lisa had come up with this cutie for me. My recent bout with a nasty cold and Covid was the reason for my suggestion - after all you've got to get something positive out of it ;) This is Arthur Sneeze and you can find him HERE. He makes a great Get Well card.

I layered him over a couple of digi papers and added some snow drifts - after all we in the Southern Hemisphere are heading into the cooler months.

I do have a plan for this little guy on something 3D - just have to work out the logistics as I'm not sure Copic colouring will work. Watch this space......

Maggie Stop Sign from Twistoon

I loved using Maggie Stop Sign as she would work with so many different sentiments - she'd also be good trying to keep George from speeding around in his walnut car

I added the "Wait ...What?" sentiment to the sign and figured this would be a great for a "you're HOW old?" card, or a belated birthday card, or all sorts of other options. I hope you like it.

Wrinkles

There's something so loveable about this guy and the obvious way he finds joy in the little things. And I have to say that as I get older I find the sentiment very apt too ;). Being so tall and skinny he's a perfect image to use on a slimline card.

This is Wrinkles from Mo Manning. I paper pieced his plaid flannel shirt - or "flannie" as we call it here in Australia. I nearly always add shading when I paper piece parts of an image, it both adds to the overall look as well as tying into the coloured areas.
