I've had this fabulous rabbit called "Late" from Mo Manning (available HERE) for some time and have just been waiting for the right project to use him on! On a recent trip to my local Op Shop (Thrift Store) I found the perfect thing - this fabulous little clock AND when I took it home and popped a battery in the added bonus - IT WORKED - LOL.
I pulled it apart and covered the base with some Bo Bunny DP and then came another bonus - my new Tim Holtz weathered clock die was a perfect fit - woohooo! I printed "Late" off to fit and then popped him and some chipboard cogs onto the base before re-attaching the clock mechanism. I've take a picture of the inside of the clock as the glass on the finished clock means the details are dull.After painting the frame white I noticed the finish wasn't the best and so I covered it with more Bo Bunny DP - which I think I prefer anyway AND it was a lot less effort than stripping the paint back! Some more cogs and it was done! Now just to figure out somewhere to put it where the ticking doesn't bother me - I HATE the sound of ticking when the house is quiet!!!

LOVE this, all those details, wow! I had a bedside clock once which was so loud I had to wrap it up and put it in a drawer to get some sleep - I didn't have it for long! Dee
