A Joy Fold Card For The Stamp Spot
Wednesday is my DT day for The Stamp Spot and I have been showcasing some of the fabulous new stamps Marcia has in now she's re-stocked after her move - this one is Princess Ava from The Greeting Farm!
I've made my very first joy fold card thanx to the wonderful inspiration I've been seeing from Kylie over at INKlings from Kylie's Kraft Room. The final temptation was the tutorial she's posted HERE - and she has it on both imperial AND metric!!!
Once again I've used a Basic Grey paper pad for the DPs - and Marcia now has these listed under a separate heading HERE to make them easier to find - thanx Marcia!!! The roses are also from The Stamp Spot Store - and the nestabilities and cuttlebug folders can be found there too! I have used one of my Martha Stewart border punches and the sentiment was computer generated by me and says "Sometimes you have to kiss a few frogs before you find your prince...".
I'm going to enter this into the Anya Ink Challenge this week too - the challenge is embossing! I was sooo excited to come in the top 3 last week with my baby t-shirt - and I will be reporting on the wash tests soon..... I need to pop it through again!
Enjoy the rest of your week
xXx

Okay, your dear friend across the pond, who has been going through traumas, is finally here to pay a long overdue visit. If I try to leave lengthy comments on every post, I'll be writing a novel and will never finish my card that was due three hours ago... so I hope you'll forgive me a bit longer and I'll write this weekend.
It goes without saying that everything you do is a delight for me to see... and I mean that!
Hugs and love always,
Lisa
OMG isn't she just too cute. Love the look of your joy fold card, it is a favorite of mine, but love the way you did this one. Coloring as always, awesome.
Hi Debs,
Naughty me thought it would be a good anniversary card to send to your husband (or mine from me)...afterall we have accepted them as frogs that turn into princes occasionally LOL

Debbie, another fabulous card. Wonderful layout--I like it that the centre piece is at an angle. I love all those rich colours from your gorgeous DP's. Fantastically coloured image. So adorable.
Just got a similar image in the mail yesterday of tilda with the frog prince (fairy tale tilda). Have you seen that one?
Hugs.
