A Friend's Birthday

This card was inspired by the wonderful card Shelli Gardner demonstrated to us at Convention earlier this month. I only recently got the 24-7 set thanx to a very dear friend slipping it into an order I placed with her in the US - my poor hubby came home on Saturday morning with a suitcase full of Stampin' Up - what a guy!!!! I've been itching to ink it up as I just love this set and it was on my wish list. I just LOVED Shelli's design and had to put my spin on it - you can see the original in this post! The wheel stamp I've used is Friendly Words.

This card is for my Convention roomie - Ramona - for her birthday - and also to let her know how great it has been to become her friend! A perfect set to give and receive in friendship!

Happy Birthday Ramona!!!

Beautiful Debbie...love the soft muted colours you've chosen. Lucky you, getting all those goodies from the USA. At last the $A seems to be improving!

Love this card Debbie - it sounds as though you have some good friends in the US!!
My friend and I were only saying over the week-end how we have to pay extra to get hold of good stamps from the US and England (what with bank charges and the exchange rate!!). Thankfully we do have Stampin Up ah....

I agree with all of these ladies Debbie - this card is absolutely beautiful and I'm the lucky one to have received it. Yay !!

Thank you so much for making it for me and I really appreciate all the work you put into it - it's just gorgeous. (Now I know how your family feels when they receive one of your special cards!)

Just fabulous!! Your card reminds me of a summer afternoon with fresh flowers blowing in the wind... I know you have cold temps now; you may think I'm CAZY! (Which doesn’t take much!!?) Great textures... WOWOWOOWOWOW! Smiles... :)

Very nice, Debbie! So soft and lovely... with a bit of a shabby chic look. I love the background stamped with the damask image.

Gotta go and get back to work. Break is over. (sigh)
