KWerner Color Inspiration #44

What lovely colours this week - you think they would be a bit dull with all the brown - but the touch of pink and white really gives it a lift.

I have to thank the lovely Leonie Hegarty for the inspiration for this card. While blog surfing today I saw she had used the Dahlia fold on top of cute little boxes at a class she had run. It's something I had seen before but had been put on my "to do" file - never to get done (LOL). After a bit of help from Leonie I managed to try this out for myself! I had planned to use the gorgeous retiring Berry Bliss DP anyway so everything came together and my card was done! The sentiment is a favourite one of mine - from the retiring hostess set "For a Friend". Of course there is a little bit of cuttlebugging in there too - I just can't help myself - is there a cuttlebug patch for people like me to get me off this embossing addiction!?!?!?!?! :-)

I really like how this card turned out Debbie! That flower is awesome! I too am addicted to the cuttlebug embossing folders, especially that dots one. I don't think there is any hope for us:)

WOW, that's amazing Debbie! Love it - another idea I've yet to try.
(I have a long list but am working on them - LOL.)

The colours are beautiful together and the Swiss Dots embossing looks fabulous with the central flower and the birthday image.

Great job - as always !

That is a beautiful card Debbie, I love the way you did the flower. I completely understand your cuttlebug addiction and my favourite folder is the one you have used, Swiss Dots.

Very, very pretty, thanks for sharing.
