Next week I'm off to visit a distant friend who has been going through chemo and I decided to make her a little necklace to help cheer her up. Of course then the necklace needed to be put in a box, and a card would be nice to go with it too!!! I decided on the Rose Red cardstock initially as it went well with the deep pinks of the necklace - then I started to go a little crazy with colours inspired by the Bali Breeze DP and Felt Fusion flowers (coming out in the Summer Mini). It wasn't quite what I planned when I started out - but I love the cheeriness of it all - and hopefully it will brighten my friend up a little too and let her know we've been thinking of her!
