Sparkle Creations - Inspiration Picture Challenge

This week at Sparkle Creations we have a fun new challenge for you to play along with - check out the inspiration picture on my left. I used Cafe Lucy - a fabulous image for those of us who enjoy meeting up with friends for a coffee - and who doesn't!?!?! I took the Fall colours from the picture to colour Lucy up and for my paper choices.

Today I have another new Sparkle Creations image to showcase for you - meet Mailbox Josh. He's not particularly meant to be a Christmas image but since I am a little behind in my Christmas card making and thought he would work beautifully in the role.

Challenge #117 for Sparkle Creations

This week at Sparkle Creations we have a fun new challenge for you to play along with - create something using FELT! This gorgeous image is Laptop Lucy - a fabulous modern image I'm sure many of us can relate too - even though I would rather be sitting on a comfy chair - LOL. I love the texture felt gave this project and wanted it to share the spotlight with the image so I kept my embellishments to a minimum. With dies these days being able to cut felt the opportunities are endless  Here I've cut a rolled rose, leaf and scalloped circle in felt using dies - and hand cut a green rectangle for under my sentiment.

A Colour Challenge at Sparkle Creations

This week at Sparkle Creations we have a fun new challenge for you to play along with - it's a colour challenge using orange, white, yellow and black. This gorgeous image is Cowboy Josh - a fabulous image for any celebration and I felt he would be the perfect fit for this colour combo. I added a cowhide pattern to his chaps and the orange and yellow added the perfect pops of colour. I also rounded the corners of my card to add some interest as boys cards often need a little twist.

Double Embossing at Sparkle Creations

This week at Sparkle Creations we have a fun new challenge for you to play along with - Double Embossing! This gorgeous image is New Year Emily - a fabulous image for any celebration. I used Frantage embossing powder around Emily to add some fun - it reminds me a bit of confetti flying around. My dry embossed panel sits on the right hand side of the card and acts as a great backdrop for my floral spray.

Inspiration Picture Challenge at Sparkle Creations

This week at Sparkle Creations we have a fun new challenge for you to play along with - an inspiration picture. I chose to use the green and the black colour combination - although I went for a limier green as that's my favourite colour ;) . I also tried to make my card feel like the front of a bag - with the die cut doily acting like the bag flap with it's sparkley clasp. This gorgeous image is Your Highness Lucy - the perfect princess for a designer handbag - LOL.

Sparkle Creations - A New Challenge

This week at Sparkle Creations we have a bright new challenge for you and something a little different from me - NEON - and I must admit this had me a little scared!!! The colours on the card aren't as vibrant in my photo as they are in real life unfortunately - the joys of photographing in Winter light - I really MUST get a daylight lamp!! The image I've used is Chit Chat Lucy.

Woohooo - GDT at Sparkle Creations - here's the challenge.....

I recently got asked to be a GDT over Sparkle Creations Challenges - well as you can see I said YES! I think these little images have a cute factor all of their own and are a lot of fun to use.

My first challenge is a Throwback Challenge - I've never done one of these before but I think it's a FABULOUS challenge to dust off the older stamps and remind everyone of how truly fabulous they are! I chose Shopping Emily - after all retail therapy is a favourite pass - time for many of us - much to hubby's chagrin - LOL
