Aurora Wings Challenge #66

It's time for a new challenge at Aurora Wings and this time it's....

Image may contain: 1 person, text

This was a fun challenge because it allowed the option to use a selection of colours to be used with the black & white rather than just one.

This week I was inspired to share a little bit of our Aussie Autumn with you and the perfect image to use for this was the Acorn Sprite. I love how the colour of the leaves pops out - reminds me of seeing a tree in full autumnal colour and how it makes the rest of the background pale. The 2 piece maple leaf die was a great way to embellish, colouring the veins in the same tones I used on the acorn leaf.

Don't forget to check out the rest of the AMAZING DT inspiration on our BLOGWe also have a very active Facebook Fan Group with additional contests, challenges and inspiration.  We hope to see you there.

Copics Used
Sprite - C10, C8, C6, C6, C5, C4, C2, C0, C00
Leaves - YG67, YG17, YG05, YG01, Y06, YR21, YR12, YR09, R24

Debbie, this is BRILLIANT! Once look at this and we totally get how much you enjoy the splendor of the fall foliage. I love how you chose the high-contrast black and white for the layers of papers that are cut to match, with the beautiful greyscale with vibrant colors on the oak leaf on the image. It really is visually STUNNING! Thank you so much for your beautiful inspiration for our new challenge at AWCB today. Mitzi xxx
