Aurora Wings Challenge #36

It's time for a new challenge over at Aurora Wings and this time we're creating something "for the boys" ....

How funny that I chose the same image that Mitzi used for the banner - I only realised this when I was writing up my post. This little guy is Forgotten Summer - Boy Fae Sitting on Leaves. I enlarged him and popped him into a frame with a digital paper background before colouring him in. I also printed out and popped up the 2 top wings and some of the leaves to give some added dimension to the finished project. Of course ALL fairy wings must have sparkle - so I've added a fine dusting of glitter to them.

Don't forget to check out the rest of the AMAZING DT inspiration on our BLOGWe also have a very active Facebook Fan Group with additional contests, challenges and inspiration.  We hope to see you there.

What a perfect way to showcase this amazing image, Debbie! Your CAS design is just stunning and the added dimension puts it over the top. Gorgeous coloring with just the perfect amount of sparkle and the tiny scale of the digi paper behind is a fabulous, subtle backdrop. This card should be framed. Love, love, LOVE! xxD

I love how fresh and lush you colored this image, Debbie! (Granted, you're the 'green lady', so it's your color.) I also love how you cropped the image to bring the Boy Fae to the front and center. I especially like how you made the leaves come out of the frame. It adds dimension to the piece in a magical way - as if a viewer can walk right into the fairy's world. Thank you so much for this lovely inspiration for our latest challenge at Aurora Wings today! Mitzi xxx

This is so beautiful. Love that you added dimension by using some extra leaves and wings... This makes the img just pop out from the card. Love the layout for the card aswell... Less is more sometimes... xx
