GDT for Little Miss Muffet

Look at this little cutie - she's one of the new release Polka Dot Pals images from Little Miss Muffet Stamps and I get to help showcase her because I won a competition to choose her name!!!! Her name is Chrissie and I think she's fabulous!

I popped a bit of a Wintery background behind her - they are elements available from Make it Crafty. And then I sprinkled some of the chunkier bits of Frantage Shabby White embossing powder over my coloured scene and heat set it to represent snow. The randomness and raised texture of the Frantage gave me the look I was after.

Step Card Challenge for Sparkle Creations

It's Halloween In La-La Land

This week in La-La Land we are celebrating Halloween. It's a holiday we don't celebrate too much here in Australia. Unfortunately it's usually around finals exams for my kids but one day I plan to have some fun with it and get my ghoul on - LOL. In the meantime I get to have some fun with it through my craft ;)

This week at Magnolia Down Under Challenges we have a fun challenge for you - "Anything Goes". Having recently gotten home from a trip abroad I decided to use a travel theme for my card and there are shadows of memories from my trip here making it a labour of love to create. I'm BACK - with More The One Fold in La-La Land

I have to apologise for ignoring my blog recently - the family and I were having a month off and travelling around Europe - WHAT an amazing time we had!!! When you live in Australia it's such a long way to go so we had to make the most of it. I had done a few posts which popped up while I was away and but things got a wee bit quiet here didn't they - I just ran out of time before I left to do any more - LOL.

But now I'm back and I'm kicking things off with a fun challenge from La-La Land Crafts. We're creating projects with more than 1 fold. I've done a twisted easel and it gave me the opportunity to use some of the FABULOUS new digi designer papers from La-La Land. There are 3 gorgeous collections to play with - these are from the Retro Christmas Collection but you can see how versatile they are for other projects.
