This week at Magnolia Down Under Challenges we have a fun challenge for you - we are asking you to go green baby and recycle. I came up with a really fun project using a black plastic 3D chandelier my daughter had decided was rubbish after it had been hanging in her room for the past 8 years or so. It was certainly something a little different to play with and I decided to use my Magnolia dies to dress it up. I had planned to pop a mini world Tilda in there too but decided it was fine like it was. I did use some shabby white frantage embossing powder over the black first - to lay a sparkly shabby chic base for my die-cuts and to tone the black down a little.
As I was taking my photos - not an easy job with a 3D project at times!!!! - I noticed the shadow on the wall so snapped a shot of that too....what a fun silhouette!And don't forget to see the fabulous recycling inspiration from the rest of the MDUC DT on our BLOG.
