Magnolia Down Under Challenge #28 - Bedazzled

This fortnight's challenge over at Magnolia Down Under is "Bedazzled"  - feel free to go crazy with crystal effects, dazzling diamonds, glitter, rhinestones etc - anything you like to bedazzle your project! I found this gorgeous Christmas ornament at my local shopping centre and thought it would be the perfect base for this challenge! With the frosted glass and silver glitter spots it looked fabulous as it was - but add in a glittery poinsettia flower and leaves, a big red bow and Tilda unwrapped and I'm loving the result. I added some crystal stickle spots to the wrapping paper and some red stickles to the ribbon in Tilda's hair!

Luckily I managed to get her whipped up at last weekend's camp - so for once I was ahead of schedule - LOL. Now just to get the Christmas tree up and pop her on!

Don't forget to pop over to the MDUC blog and check out the rest of the DT's amazing inspiration for you - I got a sneak peak and there are some AMAZING creations on show!!! And check out this gorgeous stamp that Kellie and her Magnolia Down Under Store is kindly giving away to the winner of this challenge - she's adorable!!!

How creative of you......you're right the ornament is gorgeous just like it is, but what you have done to it is awesome. I love the Tilda images sitting down, will have to add that to my list. Your coloring is perfect and those touches of red and green are just right. Beautiful!

Absolutely gorgeous idea Debbie. I was thinking of stealing this idea from you but I was going to do a card that shape - had no idea it was an actual ornament. Wonderful job with the challenge. Great inspiration.

What a gorgeous ornament you have created Debbie!! Love your coloring of Tilda and the flower against the sparkly ornament. Is the ornament a flat round or a sphere?
Beautiful job!

Debbie, this is just perfect. I have yet to do a single ornament for my tree this year. This will inspire me to do at least one--going to case this one. It's just a so darn cute Tilda image--this is becoming my favorite from the collection. I'm always in awe of your colouring techniques. Fabulous ornament. Love it.

Hugs.
