La- La Land Crafts New Release Showcase August 2015 - Day 2

Do we have a treat in store for you guys this week with a HUGE release from La-La Land Crafts. We have FOUR new Marcis, THREE new Lukas, TWO new Paper Doll Marcis, THREE new Mollis, Background Images and TWELVE new dies(sets). There really is something for everyone!

Aurora Wings Challenge #17

This month over at Aurora Wings Challenges we are celebrating.....

Anything with Wings

I have had this GORGEOUS image called Romanza sitting in my computer just waiting to be printed out and coloured up. I decided to step out of a traditional colour palette and LOVE how she's turned out. The rich blue wings are covered with clear Wink of Stella glitter and just shimmers beautifully in real life! I've also added some shimmer to the center of the flowers.

Christmas in July in La-La Land

Being a bit of a Christmas tragic I do LOVE it when we get to play Christmas in July and that's exactly what we are doing this week in La-La Land. I decided to go with some non-traditional colours and create a snow globe card. The base of the card is a Silhouette file that I altered to suit my needs. Even my son knows that machine is one of my FAVOURITE tools - LOL.

Anything Goes in La-La Land

This week in La-La Land we get to choose our own theme with "Anything Goes". I love to decorate these little gift bags and a blank one just happened to be sitting on my desk when I went into my craftroom to work out what to do....it was meant to be!

These little bags are great to drop a gift card or some cash into - along with a handmade pair of beaded earrings or a small box of chocolate....a great quick gift idea, especially when you have a few bags ready to go.

Inspiration Photo in La-La Land

This week in La-La Land we are using the gorgeous picture below to inspire our work. The serene beach scene is one far away from my world at the moment with us Aussies being in the midst of winter. But it's nice to dream!
