This week over at Magnolia Down Under Challenges we are asking you to use "One Word Sentiments" on your cards. I bought several of these cute little word "beads" from my LSS - they were in a sell-off box and personally I think I hit the jackpot when I found them. I love threading them on twine and wrapping them onto my cards.

We are welcoming back our fabulous regular sponsor Stampyland this week - thanx so much!

Don't forget to check out the AMAZING inspiration from the fabulous MDUC DT and out wonderful guests on our BLOG - I had a sneak peek when I snuck my card in late - WOW there is some amazing eye candy to see!

Make it Colourful - Spring Colours

It's time for a new challenge over at Make it Colourful - Spring Colours. I always think of Spring as being bright and vibrant with the garden coming alive with colour. For my card I've used the sweet little Foxie Sprite digi from Make it Crafty. I started off with an idea to use a whole range of colours from reds through to yellows - but I somehow ended up here - LOL. The lime greens remind me of new grass peeking through and I always love the watch the dragonflies dance.

Don't forget to check out the rest of the inspiration from the FAB MiC DT over in our GALLERY - and you can enter the fun there as well.

Copics used - Skintones (R20, R11, E11, E00, E000) plus YR16, YR14, YR07, YR02, YR00, YR0000, YG25, YG21, YG05, YG0000, G28, B0000, R59, E35, E33, E31, E08

Tickled Pink Stamps Preview Day 4 - Lil Futuristic Lolita Christina

Can you believe it's the last day of previews from Tickled Pink Stamps - we hope you've enjoyed this "look into the future" as much as we have enjoyed bringing it to you. This digi release will be INSTORE tomorrow.

Today we are introducing you to the gorgeous Lil Futuristic Lolita Christina. I'm loving this look on her and can't wait to see what the rest of the DT have come up with using her - check their work out on our BLOG and leave a comment for a chance to win her for yourself.

I used a My Time Made Easy cut file from Lauren Meader - but I enlarged it to maximize an A4 sheet. Once again I took the opportunity to play on  my new Cameo - LOVE this machine!

This is the view from inside - it's little box to pop something sweet into but I resisted the temptation to fill it now because I know it wouldn't be full for too long, I have nooo will power - LOL. I'll fill it up when I plan to give it away!

I haven't glued this together in the way it was designed - but that's the fun part of creating something yourself.
Copics used - Skintones (R20, R11, E11, E00, E000) plus E49, E47, E37, E35, E33, E31, YG17, YG05, YG01, YG0000, 100, C6, C4, C2, RV66, RV63, RV55, RV10

Tickled Pink Stamps is Sponsoring Divas by Design

This week Tickled Pink Stamps is proud to be sponsoring Divas by Design where "Anything Goes". Since tomorrow is the start of a new school year here in Melbourne I couldn't go past using Lil Little Lad Frankie - though I hope my son doesn't treat any of his teachers to the sentiment I used on my card - LOL. We hope you can come along and play too for a chance at a Tickled Pink Stamps prize.

I also have to apologise - before Christmas I hit a couple of milestones on my blog and promised some candy - I HAVEN'T forgotten - but having everyone at home on holidays has set me behind schedule - I WILL be posting it within the next 2 weeks - or I'll add extra to it - LOL.

Another apology (not my day is it - LOL) - I can't fine the copics colours I wrote down for this image : (

Time to Partaye!

I've had this cutie from Mo Manning for a while and I'm sooo glad I've finally coloured her up because she can't help but make you feel happy. Her name is Georgia and I swear you can hear her tamborine tinkling away as she's dancing around. I love how this DP  from MME's Stella and Rose Mabel paper pad brings the gypsy feel to life too.

Don't forget to check out the rest of the MDUC DT's gorgeous Edwin inspiration on our BLOG - and we hope you'll grab your Edwin stamps and come along and play.

Make it Colourful - Shading Reds With Other Colours

It's time for a new challenge at Make it Colourful  and we're asking you to shade reds using darker shades such as grays, purples or browns. I've never done this before and am rapt with the depth I managed to achieve using Copic colours V17 and V15 which are in the violet/purple group.

I chose to use Make it Crafty's Annabelle to colour as the folds of her dress gave me plenty of opportunity to play with the shading. I added an embossed steampunk background and a chipboard gear from Make it Crafty's Gears Galore set. There are also touches of gold on the gear, in the mesh ribbon and on the flowers for a dash of elegance.

Pop on over to our GALLERY to check out what the rest of the MiC DT have coloured up to get your creative juices flowing - and don't forget to join in the fun and enter in the GALLERY too.

Copics used - Skintones (R20, R11, E11, E00, E000) plus V17, V15, R37, R35, R32, R30, 100, C7, C6, C4, C2, E18, E17, E15, E13
