Burtonesque Dolls Challenge #16 - Willy Wonka

This week at The Burtonesque Dolls we have a fabulous challenge - and one close to my heart - CHOCOLATE - LOL. The challenge is Willy Wonka! We're asking you to create a new candy box, candy bag, chocolate bar, any fun and funky new candy you would find in Willy Wonka's factory. You can even create a fun and funky candy Wrapper! The possibilities are endless here.

Now if you check out MY project you'll realise I made a bit of a boo boo. I read the brief AFTER I had finished my card : (  How could I be sooo silly and make a card when I could have done a CHOCOLATE BOX - LOL?!?!?! My only excuse is that I've been madly trying to get ahead with my DT projects as I'm heading away for a couple of weeks. Ah well - at least I made the faux chocolate bars ON the card!

I've used a fabulous Tiddly Inks image for Willy Wonka. The chocolate bar wrappers were made from a photo I found on the internet - I resized it to the size I wanted and made some chocolate to pop inside it.

Now there's a little extra incentive to enter this week - we are going to pick some new DT members from the entrants - so what are you waiting for - go check out what the rest of the Dolls have done to inspire you and then off you go to get your chocolate fix happening - LOL

xXx

  4. Super Cool Debbie ... and how glad was I to read that you didn't follow specs because you were in too much of a hurry to get this done! I had to giggle at that! Another giggle ... I opened this comment box with fear and trepidation! I tried to add a comment to your last post ... earlier this arvo ... and it locked my computer ... and I had to shut down and start up again TWICE!!! Fingers crossed when I hit the "submit" button it won't happen again! (I was ready to throw the puter out the window!) When are you leaving for your holiday? I hope you enjoy! Hugs Andrea xxx

  18. Consider yourself lucky that you didn't have a chocolate box to decorate it. It ends up in your stomach anyway. Me and Nicole both know so far. LOL!! Love your colored image and the drippy good, of course and how brilliant to find the wrappers!! Love this card!
