Magnolia Down Under Challenge #41

This week's challenge over at Magnolia Down Under Challenge is "olden days" - colour image blacks, greys and whites - but have coloured pattern paper.

I'm not quite sure if I fulfilled the challenge properly but I also needed to make my daughter's 18th card and her favourite colours are black, white and red. The "18 today" panel I cut using my craft robo from a free file I found on someone's blog - when I get a chance I'll track it down and link it here if anyone else wants it - it's on my laptop which is currently hooked up to the stereo for the party!!! This panel was supposed to sit over the stripe DP square on the front of the card - but I just couldn't get it to work without covering it up too much - so I popped it on the inside of the card and we all signed around it.

I've added some stickles to the flower edges and some pearls and rhinestones for added birthday bling. I'll be back soon and will share some party pics with you!

I've had a sneak peek of some of the other DT work and think they've fulfilled the olden days" part of the challenge in a much more inspiring way - so pop over and check them out! At least I used one of my favourite Tilda's from an older collection - LOL.

xXx

Love how the colour of the DP has been picked up in the flower. The cut out is also awesome. Hope you have/had a great party!! ooxx
